Ken Moelis

Ken Moelis is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Moelis & Company, a global independent investment bank that provides innovative strategic advice and solutions to a diverse client base, including corporations, governments and financial sponsors. Mr. Moelis has over 30 years of investment banking experience. Prior to founding Moelis & Company, he worked at UBS from 2001 to 2007, where he was most recently President of UBS Investment Bank and previously Joint Global Head of Investment Banking. Before joining UBS, Mr. Moelis was Head of Corporate Finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he worked from 1990 through 2000. Mr. Moelis began his career as an investment banker with Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1981.

Mr. Moelis serves on the University of Pennsylvania Board of Trustees, the Wharton Board of Overseers, the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Board of Advisors and was formerly Chair and Director on the Tourette Association of America Board. He holds an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

John Momtazee

Since co-founding Moelis & Company in 2007, Mr. Momtazee has advised clients across several media sectors, including diversified media, cable television, broadcast television, broadcast radio, digital media, entertainment, publishing and outdoor advertising. Mr. Momtazee has advised and financed many of the largest, most sophisticated media clients and worked extensively with leading financial sponsors. Prior to Moelis & Company, Mr. Momtazee was a Managing Director in the Global Media Group and the Head of Broadcasting Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Momtazee was previously an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and then served as the Chief Financial Officer of The .TV Corporation. In 2009, Mr. Momtazee was honored as Investment Dealers’ Digest’s “40 Under 40” and has also been recognized in the Power 100 by Broadcasting & Cable and Mutichannel News.

Mr. Momtazee holds an A.B. in Quantitative Economics and an M.S. in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University and an M.B.A. and J.D., both with honors, from the University of Chicago. He is currently a member of Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Council, the LEAD Council and the Southern California Advisors for Stanford University. He also serves on the Law School Council for the University of Chicago.

Glenn Muscosky

Glenn Muscosky is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company on the Infrastructure team. Mr. Muscosky has over 20 years of private and public sector experience in transport and energy infrastructure. He was a founding member of the team that established J.P. Morgan’s first infrastructure investment strategy, and has lead project finance experience as a senior member of Credit Agricole’s project finance team. Glenn began his infrastructure career in the public sector at the New York City Transit Authority and the New York City School Construction Authority.

Mr. Muscosky holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

Charles Noel-Johnson

Charles Noel-Johnson is a Managing Director and Co-Head of EMEA Recapitalisation & Restructuring at Moelis & Company. Mr. Noel-Johnson has over 20 years investment banking experience advising corporates, sponsors and investors on a wide range of capital structure advisory assignments including new money financings, recapitalisations, amendment and restructuring transactions. Mr Noel-Johnson was a founding partner of the European and Middle East offices joining Moelis & Company in 2009. Mr Noel-Johnson was previously at Close Brothers Corporate Finance and JP Morgan Asset Management. Mr. Noel-Johnson was honoured by Financial News’ “40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Investment Banking” in 2011 and 2012.

Mr. Noel-Johnson holds a M.A. (Honors) in Politics from Edinburgh University and studied Political Science & International Relations at the University of California, San Diego. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

William Nook is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Nook has over 15 years of investment banking experience and was most recently Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Deutsche Bank in the Americas Financial Institutions Group, focusing on asset management and alternative investment companies. Previously, he was a member of the Global Financial Institutions Group at UBS.

Mr. Nook holds a B.A. from Union College and an M.B.A. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Rebecca is General Counsel and Company Secretary at Moelis Australia. She is responsible for legal, compliance and company secretarial activities of Moelis Australia with over 15 years’ experience as a lawyer in the financial services industry.

Prior to joining the company, Rebecca was Regional Counsel at UBS, with primary responsibilities for advising its Asset Management businesses across Asia Pacific from both Sydney and Hong Kong.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) / Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow with the Governance Institute of Australia.

Richard Orders

Richard Orders is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Orders has over 20 years of experience advising corporate clients across the Asia Pacific region and was most recently Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific Advisers (“APA”). He was previously a Managing Director in the RBS/ABN AMRO group in Asia Pacific and before that was Vice Chairman and Head of Global Clients Asia Pacific for ABN AMRO, where he worked since 1996. Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Mr. Orders was a Managing Director and Head of Barings Investment Banking in Asia. He has also worked for Barings in other roles within corporate finance and debt capital markets based in Australia and London.

Mr. Orders holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Oxford.

Will Peters is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he focuses on clients in the tech, media, and telecom sectors, specializing in communications infrastructure and FinTech. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Peters worked at Barclays where he was a Managing Director and a senior member of the firm’s tech, media, and telecom coverage team in London. Prior to starting his investment banking career at Barclays, he spent six years in the British Army, serving with the 1st Battalion, The Duke of Wellington’s Regiment in Europe and the Middle East.

 

Mr. Peters holds an M.A. with Honors in Modern History from The University of St Andrews.

Dominick Petrosino

Dom Petrosino is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Petrosino has extensive capital markets and investment banking experience and was most recently Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets at Bear Stearns. While at Bear Stearns, he managed a leading business focused on providing capital structure solutions, including underwriting, structuring and executing leveraged loans, high yield notes and mezzanine financings. In this role, Mr. Petrosino advised clients across a broad range of industries on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, recapitalizations and other capital structure matters. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Petrosino was a Vice President of High Yield Corporate Finance at Chase Securities and previously a Vice President in Chase’s Global Mining & Metals Group.

Mr. Petrosino holds a B.S. from New York University and an M.B.A. from Baruch College.

Matthew Prest

Matthew Prest is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe at Moelis & Company. Mr. Prest has over 20 years of financial restructuring experience advising companies, financial sponsors, secured lenders and bondholders. Additionally, he has provided clients with other investment banking services including raising debt and equity finance for distressed and non-distressed companies. He has performed key advisory roles in some of the most high-profile, sensitive and complex situations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia.

Prior to joining Moelis, Mr. Prest was a Managing Director in Close Brothers Corporate Finance’s restructuring team for 5 years. Mr. Prest has also held roles as Director of Restructuring at M&G Investment Management and Senior Manager in KPMG’s restructuring team.

Mr. Prest is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a BA in History from the University of Warwick.

Andrew Pridham

Andrew Pridham is a Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Moelis Australia. Mr. Pridham has over 20 years of experience in investment banking and was most recently Executive Chairman of Investment Banking at JP Morgan Australia, where he completed many major M&A, equity raising and other advisory transactions and played a leading role in the significant growth of JP Morgan’s Australian business. Prior to his six year tenure at JP Morgan, Mr. Pridham spent 12 years at UBS where he held senior roles including Global Head of Real Estate Investment Banking and Head of Investment Banking for Australasia. He was also a member of the UBS Global Investment Banking Management Committee.

Mr. Pridham received a Bachelor of Applied Science (PRM) from the University of South Australia. He is also Chairman of AFL Club, The Sydney Swans.

Mike Pyke is Head of Institutional Capital and responsible for MA Asset Management’s capital partnerships. Mike has been with Moelis Australia for six years. He worked heavily on Moelis Australia’s IPO in 2017 and subsequently led Moelis Australia’s IR & Strategy function. He has previously worked in Moelis Australia’s Corporate Advisory Team (restructuring) for large Australian corporates and leading global hedge funds.

Mike has over 10 years of diversified financial services experience. Prior to working at Moelis, Mike was at Citi Bank.

Mike holds a Master of Commerce (finance) from The University of Sydney.

Jeffrey Raich

Jeff Raich is Co-President and a Founding Partner of Moelis & Company. Mr. Raich has been in the investment banking industry for 32 years and has advised on over 200 M&A transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. Previously, Mr. Raich was the Head of M&A at Moelis & Company and was instrumental in the build-out of the Firm’s M&A platform since its inception. Under his leadership in this role, the Firm soon became one of the leading boutique M&A advisory firms in the world. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Raich was the Joint Global Head of M&A at UBS Investment Bank, where he founded UBS’s Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group. While at UBS, he was a member of the UBS Investment Bank Board, the UBS Global Management Committee and the Investment Banking Department Americas Executive Committee and was Co-Head of Investment Banking Los Angeles. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Raich was a Managing Director and Head of West Coast Mergers and Acquisitions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He began his career as an investment banker with PaineWebber. He began his career as an investment banker with PaineWebber in 1989.

Mr. Raich holds a B.S. with Distinction in Commerce from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (Beta Gamma Sigma). He is a member of the McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board at the University of Virginia. He is a Board Member of the UCLA Health System and is also Co-Chair of the Lung Health Advisory Board at UCLA. Mr. Raich also serves on The Posse Foundation National Board of Directors and the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) Board of Directors.

Swati Rao is Managing Director at Moelis & Company where she specializes in advising clients in the healthcare sector. Ms. Rao has over 14 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. She has extensive expertise advising on domestic and cross-border M&A as well as capital markets healthcare transactions, namely across the biotechnology, specialty pharma and generics sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Rao was on the European corporate finance team at GE Capital and the European M&A team at Lehman Brothers.

Ms. Rao holds a B.C. with joint Honors in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
