Mark Henkels is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Henkels has over 25 years of investment banking experience. Before joining Moelis, he was Head of the Industrial Growth and Services Group at CIBC World Markets. While at CIBC, Mr. Henkels built one of Wall Street’s leading industrial banking franchises in metals and mining, capital goods, chemicals, aerospace and defense and building products. Prior to CIBC, Mr. Henkels led the Global Basic Industries franchises at Merrill Lynch focusing on the steel and aluminum, capital goods and building products sectors. Previous investment banking experience also included tenures at Salomon Brothers’ and Smith Barney.

Mr. Henkels has a B.A. in Accounting from Creighton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Roger Hoit

Roger Hoit is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he leads a team providing strategic advice to financial sponsors clients. Mr. Hoit has over 25 years of investment banking experience, originating and executing a full spectrum of corporate finance transactions including M&A, leveraged buyouts, equity and debt financings and derivative transactions. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Hoit was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley in the Global Financial Sponsors Group. While at Morgan Stanley, he built a leading franchise advising financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on strategic transactions and investment opportunities. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Hoit was a Managing Director at SG Cowen, a division of Société Générale, and previously a Managing Director and Partner at Gleacher & Co. Mr. Hoit began his career at PaineWebber Incorporated.

Mr. Hoit holds a B.A. in Economics from Amherst College.

Chris Kirsten

Chris Kirsten is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on Private Funds Advisory. Mr. Kirsten has over 25 years of securities distribution and investment banking experience. Most recently, Mr. Kirsten was a Managing Director and Chairman of Greenhill’s Private Capital Advisory Group. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Global Head of Lehman Brothers’ Private Fund Marketing Group and prior was a Director in the Private Equity Finance Group at Deutsche Bank.  Mr. Kirsten’s private equity experience involved helping source, position and raise numerous buyout, venture, growth and real estate funds for financial sponsors. Mr. Kirsten began his career in institutional fixed income sales and management at Nomura and Citicorp. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Jazz Gallery in New York City.

Mr. Kirsten holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and also serves as a Columbia Business School Private Equity Program mentor.

Kenneth A. Viellieu

Ken Viellieu is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Viellieu has been in the investment banking industry for over 30 years advising publicly-held and private companies in a variety of industry sectors. Prior to Moelis & Company, Mr. Viellieu was Senior Managing Director and Head of Midwest Investment Banking at Bear Stearns and previously as a Managing Director and Head of the Chicago Office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Over the course of his career, he has advised corporate clients and private equity firms on a broad range of corporate finance matters including divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance and recapitalization transactions, public and private equity offerings and corporate restructurings. In particular, he has worked closely with clients in the retail and consumer, industrial and transportation, real estate and leisure, financial and business services and healthcare sectors.

Mr. Viellieu holds a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and an M.B.A. with a specialization in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Viellieu is a member of the Lurie Children’s Memorial Foundation Board and a Director and Patron of the Big Shoulders Fund. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a member of the Dean’s Council at Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
