Ken Moelis is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Moelis & Company. Ken has over 40 years of experience both as an investment banker and an executive during which he has been responsible for the innovation and growth of investment banking franchises across the industry. He served as Moelis’ Chief Executive Officer from its founding through September 2025.
Prior to founding Moelis & Company, Ken was President of UBS Investment Bank and previously the Head of Corporate Finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He began his investment banking career at Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Ken holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Business Council and the Business Roundtable and currently serves on the Wharton Board of Advisors and the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Board of Advisors. Ken is also serving on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He was formerly Board Chair and Director of the Tourette Association of America and served on the Board of Trustees at the University of Pennsylvania for 10 years.

Cullen Murphy is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in Capital Structure Advisory. Cullen has extensive investment banking and asset management experience, having advised clients on liability management, recapitalizations, special-situations M&A, debt financing transactions, and in-court reorganizations.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Cullen was an investment analyst at Catalyst Capital Group, a distressed-focused private equity firm. Cullen holds a B.S. in Business and Managerial Economics from the University of Denver, an M.S. in Mathematics from Fairfield University, and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

David Murphy is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients across the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on healthcare services and healthcare technology companies. He has extensive experience originating and executing a broad range of corporate finance transactions in both the public and private markets, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, David was a member of Citi’s Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group. He holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University.

Rachel Murray is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where she specializes in Capital Structure Advisory for companies, sponsors, and creditors across a wide range of industries. She has extensive experience in in-court and out-of-court recapitalization and restructuring transactions with a specialized focus on Chapter 11 reorganizations, exchange offers, consent solicitations and distressed financings.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Rachel worked in the financial services practice at Deloitte. She holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Accounting from the Leventhal School at the University of Southern California and an A.B. in Government from Harvard.

Glenn Muscosky is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company on the Infrastructure team. He has over 20 years of private and public sector experience in transport and energy infrastructure.
Prior to Moelis& Company, Glenn was a founding member of the team that established J.P. Morgan’s first infrastructure investment strategy and lead project finance experience as a senior member of Credit Agricole’s project finance team. Glenn began his career at the New York City Transit Authority and the New York City School Construction Authority. Glenn holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

Leo Nesci is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company and is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s IT infrastructure. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology and has held key engineering and managerial roles in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Leo was a Managing Director and Head of IT Infrastructure at Oak Hill Advisors and previously Head of IT Infrastructure Client Services at Castleton Commodities International. He has also held leadership positions at Shenkman Capital Management, Endurance Reinsurance, and ING Investment Management. Leo holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Hunter College, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Baruch College.

Prior to Moelis & Company, Bill was a Managing Director and Head of Asset Management in the Americas Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank. Previously, he was a member of the Global Financial Institutions Group at UBS. Bill holds a B.A. from Union College and an M.B.A. (Finance) from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Bash was the Business Manager for the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Citigroup. He also previously worked at National Starch & Chemical as part of the Accounting Systems and International Accounting Groups. Bash holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

Dom has over 25 years of investment banking experience, having advised clients across a wide range of industries on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, and other complex capital structure matters.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Dom was Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets at Bear Stearns, where he led a business specializing in capital structure solutions, including underwriting, structuring, and executing leveraged loans, high yield notes, and mezzanine financings. Before that, he was a Vice President in High Yield Corporate Finance at Chase Securities. Dom holds a B.S. from New York University and an M.B.A. from Baruch College.

Doug has over 20 years of investment banking experience with extensive expertise on a wide range of M&A transactions, as well as equity and debt-related financings across the sector.
Prior to Moelis & Company, Doug was the Global Head of Metals & Mining and the Americas Head of the Industrials Group at Credit Suisse based out of New York City. Prior to his time at Credit Suisse, Doug was a corporate attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York City. Doug holds a B.S. in Psychology from Duke University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

Kate Pilcher Ciafone is a Co-Founder and the Chief Operating Officer of Moelis & Company where she is responsible for the Firm’s global strategy and operations. She previously served as the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking where she led business management and other corporate functions. Kate has over 20 years of experience in the investment banking industry both as a banker and as an operating executive.
Prior to Moelis & Company, Kate worked in the office of the CEO and President at UBS Investment Bank where she helped analyze growth opportunities and develop strategy for the firm. She began her career as an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions and raising equity and debt financing.
In 2025, Kate was named to Barron’s annual list of the 100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance, which recognizes top leaders who have made a significant impact in the financial industry. She serves on the Board of Directors of MA Financial Group Limited (ASX: MAF) and the Board of Madison Square Boys & Girls Club. Kate was also a David Rockefeller Fellow through the Partnership for New York City. She holds a B.S. in Commerce with distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Tyler worked in the Equity Capital Markets Group at Credit Suisse, where he focused on ECM origination, syndicate and de-SPAC advisory. Tyler holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Vincent was a Managing Director on the North American fund placement team at Campbell Lutyens. Previously he held roles at UBS Investment Bank, SMBC Nikko Securities America and Shumway Capital Partners. He began his career as a CPA at both Ernst & Young and KPMG. Vincent holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Accounting from The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University.
