Francesco Del Vecchio is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in recapitalization and restructuring. Mr. Del Vecchio has over 20 years of restructuring, financing and investment management experience advising debtors, creditors, private equity sponsors and governmental entities on a wide variety of in-court and out-of-court restructurings and capital structure assignments across a broad range of transactions, industries and jurisdictions. He joined the Firm as an Executive Director in 2011 and has worked in the Firm’s New York and London offices. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Del Vecchio held investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup in both New York and London and managed an investment portfolio at a New York-based asset manager. He began his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Jared Dermont is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in M&A and Restructuring & Recapitalization advisory. Mr. Dermont has over 20 years of financial services experience advising companies, equity investors, creditors and government entities across a broad range of industries and geographies. His domestic and cross-border M&A experience includes both buy-side and sell-side assignments as well as Special Committee representations. Mr. Dermont’s financing expertise includes senior secured debt financings, DIP financings, exit financings, second lien loans, convertible notes, rights offerings, preferred stock investments and common equity investments. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Dermont was a Managing Director at Rothschild, Inc. where he focused on global M&A and restructuring transactions.

William Q. Derrough

Bill Derrough is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company. Mr. Derrough has extensive experience advising all types of parties in major restructurings including companies, boards of directors, creditor groups, shareholders, unions and governmental entities and has been instrumental in building-out the Firm’s restructuring franchise. Under his leadership, Moelis has established one of the world’s leading R&R teams, which has advised on more than 400 assignments globally representing over $1 trillion in value. The team was ranked #1 Restructuring Advisor both Globally and in the U.S. for 2019 completed engagements and was awarded the prestigious Restructuring Bank of the Year award for 2019 by IFR Magazine.

Mr. Derrough has 30 years of investment banking experience. From 1998 until joining Moelis & Company, he co-founded and co-headed the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company. While at Jefferies, Mr. Derrough advised a wide spectrum of clients and investors on restructurings, recapitalizations, financings, mergers, and other engagements. Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Derrough was a Principal at Doyle & Boissiere, a private investment firm. Mr. Derrough began his investment banking career at Salomon Brothers Inc.

Mr. Derrough holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. He serves on the boards of Youth INC, Boy Scouts of Greater New York, Bennington College and the Academy of St. Joseph, New York. He also served as Treasurer of the Democratic National Committee from 2017-2021.

Michael DiYanni

Michael DiYanni is a Managing Director & Head of Risk Advisory at Moelis & Company where he specializes in financial institutions advisory. Since he joined the Firm, he has been instrumental in the execution of numerous market-leading structured credit transactions and advisory assignments. Mr. DiYanni has worked in the investment banking industry for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in the pricing, modeling and structuring of fixed income derivatives and securitizations. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. DiYanni was an Executive Director at JP Morgan in the Fixed Income Group, where he held multiple roles within the structured credit business including heading the North American Franchise Structuring Group, and the Credit Hybrids Pricing and Execution Group. Previously, he was a Director in the Fixed Income Group at Citigroup on the Credit Derivatives Trading desk in New York and London.

Mr. DiYanni holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.S. in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics.

Patrick Dunleavy is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on Private Funds Advisory. He joined the Firm to help launch the Private Funds Advisory group with extensive experience advising institutional investors and providing capital raising services to financial sponsor clients. Previously, Mr. Dunleavy was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Greenhill’s Private and Real Estate Capital Advisory group. Prior to that, he worked as a Managing Director in the Private Fund Advisory group at Lehman Brothers and Lazard. He has more than 11 additional years of private equity experience holding various positions at Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney and Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. Mr. Dunleavy began his career as an M&A attorney at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

Mr. Dunleavy holds a B.A. from Fordham College and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.

Liz Eberhart is a Managing Director in Human Capital Management at Moelis & Company. Ms. Eberhart has over 20 years of HR experience, 10 of which were spent at UBS where she was Head of the Americas Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities HR Team. Prior to this role, Ms. Eberhart held HR positions for UBS AG in both London and Switzerland as a Client Relationship Manager and Recruiter.

Ms. Eberhart holds a B.S. from the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University. She is a member of the HR Roundtable Connecticut chapter and has been on the Board of Advisors since its inception in 2013.

Jay Finney is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in M&A advisory. Mr. Finney has extensive experience working with domestic and multinational companies on a broad range of complex M&A transactions. In that role, he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing a full spectrum of public and private M&A transactions across a variety of industries, with a focus on industrial companies, and related coverage of corporate clients as well as private equity firms. Andrew Haber is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Haber focuses on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and other advisory services within the Telecom/Media/Technology sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Haber was with Bear Stearns for 10 years, most recently as a Managing Director where he was responsible for M&A coverage and execution in the Telecom/Media/Technology Group. He has advised clients on a wide variety of transactions, including domestic and international acquisitions (public and private), spin-offs/split-offs, leveraged buyouts, exclusive sales, joint ventures, highly contested transactions and in-court and out-of-court restructurings with an aggregate value of over $100 billion. Prior to receiving his M.B.A., Mr. Haber spent three years with Booz Allen Hamilton as a Management Consultant, where he advised clients across various industries in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.

Mr. Haber graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with a B.A. and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Steven Halperin is a Managing Director and Head of Equity Public Markets at Moelis & Company, focusing on the Firm’s public and private market origination and distribution capabilities. Mr. Halperin has 21 years of investment banking experience, most recently as Americas Head of Equity-Linked & Hybrid Solutions at Barclays. Prior to that role, he was Co-Head of EMEA Equity Capital Markets after leading EMEA Equity-Linked Origination. Mr. Halperin began his career at Lehman Brothers having worked in various capital markets roles. During his career, Mr. Halperin has originated, structured, and executed over one hundred convertible capital raises and equity derivative transactions as well as dozens of subordinated debt, preferred, and equity capital issuances across two regions.

Mr. Halperin holds a B.S.M in Economics and Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Herrington worked at Raymond James where he was a Managing Director and Head of the Activism Response & Contested Situations Group. Prior to Raymond James, he served in Credit Suisse’s contested situations practice, where he was responsible for advising both domestic and international clients on shareholder activism, takeover defense, contested M&A transactions and corporate governance matters. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Herrington was an M&A lawyer based in the London office of Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, where he specialized in structuring and executing cross-border transactions.
