Matt Singer is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients across Private Capital Markets, with a focus on growth equity and private credit. Matt brings over a decade of experience partnering and investing with companies through creative solutions across the capital structure.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Matt served as Head of Innovation Capital at BlackRock where he oversaw a $1.1 billion portfolio providing growth equity financing to mid- and late-stage venture-backed private companies across AI, enterprise software, hardware, defense, and industrial technology sectors. Prior to joining BlackRock, he led Goldman Sachs’ BDC efforts in originating and structuring over $600 million of growth debt and equity investments to venture-backed, founder-owned and owner-operated companies. Earlier in his career, Matt held roles at H.I.G. Capital, Credit Suisse, and Bridgewater Associates.
Matt holds a B.S. in International Politics and Security Studies from Georgetown University, and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
