Serge Tismen is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in M&A, advising corporations and financial sponsors across the global energy, energy transition, and energy technologies sectors. With more than 25 years of investment banking experience, Serge has deep expertise in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, capital formation, and special committee situations. Over the course of his career, he has advised on transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $350 billion.
Before joining Moelis, Serge was Global Head of Clean Energy Transition Investment Banking at Citi, a group he established and led to advise clients across the energy and power industries with a focus on next-generation energy infrastructure. Prior to that, he led Citi’s M&A practice in the energy and oilfield services sectors, following earlier leadership roles in media and telecommunications investment banking.
Serge began his career at Wolfensohn & Company and in the M&A group of Deutsche Bank. He holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
