Biography

Patrick Loftus-Hills is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in the metals and mining sector. Patrick has over 35 years of experience and has advised almost every major global mining company on a range of transactions, including cross-border M&A, capital raisings, and restructurings. Patrick has completed numerous significant financial advisory transactions for companies listed on major stock exchanges globally.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2011 as a Managing Director, Patrick was Joint Head of the Asian Industrials Group and Head of Natural Resources at UBS in Hong Kong and held leadership roles in the UBS global mining team across multiple jurisdictions, including New York and Australia.

Patrick holds degrees in Law and Science from Monash University in Australia. He serves on the Board of Directors of Ivanhoe Electric and is a Managing Member of Sweetwater Royalties LLC, an Orion Resource Partners portfolio company. Patrick is also Chairman of the Monash University U.S. Leadership Council, Co-Chairman of the U.S. Friends of the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and Vice Chairman of the AUS USA Foundation.
