What to expect when applying and interviewing for Moelis Campus Programs

We invite you to explore our programs and submit your resume through our student application website. US and UK candidates will complete the Suited Assessment, which provides additional input on behavioral traits and cognitive competencies that help support on-the-job success. Application timelines vary by location, university, and program—see below for standard application dates for the summer internship programs.
US Summer Analyst Intern Program: applications typically open in the December of your sophomore year.
US Summer Associate Intern Program: applications typically open in the October before the internship.
London Summer Analyst Intern Program: applications typically open in August for internships starting the following year.
Beijing Summer Analyst Intern Program: applications typically open in August for internships starting the following year.
Hong Kong Summer Analyst Intern Program: applications typically open in May for internships starting the following year.
You will participate in one-to-two first-round interviews with investment bankers, consisting of technical and behavioral assessments. Second-round candidates will attend an onsite final round interview process, meeting with multiple senior bankers who will further evaluate your knowledge and capabilities.

We welcome applicants from all academic disciplines with a strong analytical and quantitative mindset. No prior experience is required for our Campus Programs, as comprehensive technical training is provided. If applying for a full-time banking role, finance experience, including previous investment banking internships, is expected.
The Suited Assessment is used to support prediction of employee performance, measuring over 50 traits and characteristics that are predictive of success in Investment Banking, including attention to detail, critical reasoning and logical thinking. Moelis requires our US and UK applicants to complete the assessment. Applicants take the assessment only once, and may share results with any firm that requests its completion. Please allocate 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to focus on the assessment.
Candidates are eligible to submit up to two applications. If selected to interview for multiple roles, candidates will need to select one position to continue the process.
