Carlos is also on Billboard’s Power 100 list, an annual ranking of the music industry’s top executives. In 2025 and 2026, he was named to the Los Angeles Times Banking & Finance Visionaries list, which recognizes leaders shaping the financial services industry. He was also recognized by Latinos in Sports as a Latino Power Player, honoring his remarkable success and influence in the sports industry. Prior to Nomura, he was a Partner at Greentech Capital Advisors, a global investment bank focused on sustainable infrastructure and technology. As an early Principal at Greentech, Olav played a pivotal role in scaling the firm, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Nomura. Olav also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Pegasus Solar, where he successfully raised Series A equity and debt funding while building the company’s finance and accounting functions. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly a decade at Citi, where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, and fixed income transactions across multiple sectors and invested capital in growth equity companies within the energy, waste, and water sectors.
