Biography

Matt Hughes is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in M&A advisory. Matt has over 15 years of corporate finance experience executing public and private sellside, buyside, and special committee assignments and has advised on numerous high-profile strategic M&A transactions across a broad range of industries.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Matt worked in the M&A Group at Morgan Stanley and held various corporate finance and investment banking positions at Merrill Lynch and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. Matt holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
