Biography

John Kimm is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in M&A Advisory. John has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience, executing public and private buyside and sellside mergers and acquisitions and joint venture transactions across a broad range of industries.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, John was a Managing Director at Evercore, where he advised clients across the industrials, consumer, and various other sectors, in addition to contributing to the growth of the firm’s advisory alliances in Asia. Previously, he held senior investment banking roles at BofA Securities and Bear Stearns. Before his career in investment banking, John served as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company. John holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
