Biography

James McEwan is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in M&A, advising clients on strategic transactions across the energy sector. Over the course of his career, James has executed numerous M&A transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $400 billion across a wide range of industries, geographies, and transaction structures.

Before joining Moelis, James was a Managing Director in Citi’s Mergers & Acquisitions group based in New York, where he advised energy clients on strategic and M&A transactions.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws with Honors from the University of Melbourne.
