Biography

Eric Sanschagrin is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he provides financial and strategic advice to clients in the Technology sector, with a focus on enterprise software. Eric has over 25 years of technology investment banking experience and deep relationships across the global private equity community. He has advised public and private companies on a broad spectrum of mandates, including cross-border sellside and buyside M&A, as well as IPOs, follow-on offerings, and private placements.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Eric was a Partner and Managing Director at William Blair, where he focused on enterprise software. Previously, Eric was a Partner at EY, where he led the Strategy and Transactions Technology sector for Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa, and served as Managing Director and Head of TMT Investment Banking for the EMEA region at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler). Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of European Technology Investment Banking at Citigroup. Eric holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Commerce with Joint Honours in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
