Biography

Barak Klein is a Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Capital Structure Advisory at Moelis & Company. Barak has over 25 years of investment banking and asset management experience, advising clients on liability management, Chapter 11 reorganizations, debt financing transactions, and distressed M&A.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Barak was a member of the CR Intrinsic-General Distressed Group, investing in workout and special situations at SAC Capital Advisors. He has also held senior-level roles in Asset Management and in Restructuring & Recapitalization at Jefferies. He began his career in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey. Barak holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
