Biography

Arek Kurkciyan is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he provides strategic and financial advice to clients across the Healthcare sector. He has extensive experience in life sciences tools, diagnostics, outsourced pharmaceutical services, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. With over two decades of healthcare and investment banking experience, Arek has advised a broad range of leading healthcare companies and financial sponsors on marquee M&A and financing transactions.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Arek was a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. Before that, he was a member of Deutsche Bank’s Healthcare Investment Banking Group. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry, holding various roles in sales, marketing, and HS&E at GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis. Arek holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
