He began his career at Lazard in the Financial Advisory Group. Marcel holds an M.B.A. from HEC Paris and an M.Sc. in Business Administration (Finance & Investments) from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Thane Carlston is a Managing Director and Chairman of Capital Structure Advisory at Moelis & Company. As a co-founder of the Group, Thane helped establish one of the world’s leading capital structure and debt restructuring teams, which has completed more than 750 transactions globally representing over $1.5 trillion in value.
Thane has worked in the investment banking industry for over 35 years, with a specialized focus on Capital Structure Advisory. He has extensive expertise in the distressed advisory sector, working with companies, corporate boards, creditor groups, sponsors, and corporate parents of troubled subsidiaries. Thane has structured and led numerous out-of-court transactions utilizing exchange offers, consent solicitations, and negotiations with lenders to secure bank amendments and waivers. His experience also includes distressed M&A, debt financing, and advising on matters that involve pre-packaged, pre-arranged, and unplanned Chapter 11 reorganizations.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Thane co-headed the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Jefferies. He holds an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.A. from the University of Utah, where he serves on the advisory board for the Eccles School of Business.
Rohan Choudhary

Francesco Del Vecchio

Francesco Del Vecchio is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in Capital Structure Advisory. Francesco has over 20 years of restructuring, financing, and investment management experience advising debtors, creditors, private equity sponsors, and governmental entities. He has advised on a wide variety of in-court and out-of-court restructurings, special situations, and capital structure assignments across a broad range of transactions, industries, and jurisdictions globally. Francesco has worked in the Firm’s New York and London offices.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Francesco held investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup in New York and London and also managed an investment portfolio at a New York-based asset manager. He began his career at Goldman Sachs. Francesco holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.S.L. from the USC Gould School of Law. He is an Advisory Group member of the Cornell Emerging Markets Institute and is active within Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Antje Gänsler

Prior to that, she worked at Gleacher Shacklock LLP, where she focused on complex restructurings, and was previously an investment director at a European family office. Antje started her career as a structured finance attorney at Linklaters LLP. She holds an M.B.A. (Diplom-Kaufmann) and a law degree from the University of Würzburg in Germany. She is admitted to the bar in Germany and the bar of England and Wales.
Bert Grisel

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Bert was interim CFO of a NASDAQ-listed company. He was previously at ABN AMRO, where his leadership roles included Head of Industrials and Real Estate in Asia, in addition to various other roles in Europe and Latin America. Bert holds an M.Sc. in Law from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Before that, he was a Director of Restructuring at M&G Investment Management and a Senior Manager in the restructuring team at KPMG. Matt is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a B.A. in History from the University of Warwick.

Andrew started his career at Moelis & Company and holds a B.A. in History with Honors from the University of Michigan.
