Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Evan was Managing Director and Head of Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was instrumental in establishing the firm’s PIPE business. Before that, he held investment banking and private capital markets roles at Barclays and Lehman Brothers. Evan graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Business from Westmont College.
Alexander Hageman

Alex Hageman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he leads the Firm’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) equity capital markets business and has advised on numerous transactions across the region. He has extensive experience advising corporates, alternative asset managers, and sovereign clients on high-profile European and Middle Eastern equity capital markets transactions, particularly IPOs and follow-on offerings.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Alex worked in the Equity Capital Markets Groups at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley, focusing on equity capital markets transactions across all industries. Prior to his career in investment banking, he worked on the buyside team at Robeco Asset Management. Alex holds an M.Sc. in Corporate Finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Steven was Americas Head of Equity-Linked & Hybrid Solutions at Barclays. Before that, he was Co-Head of EMEA Equity Capital Markets after leading EMEA Equity-Linked Origination. He began his career at Lehman Brothers. Steven holds a B.S.M. in Economics and Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and is a CFA charterholder.

Augusto Sasso is a Managing Director and serves as Global Head of Capital Markets and Global Head of Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure (REGLL) and Consumer & Retail at Moelis & Company. Augusto has nearly 30 years of diversified investment banking and real estate experience, having completed numerous high-profile M&A transactions, joint venture partnerships, equity and debt financings, leveraged buyouts, and restructurings with both U.S. and international clients.
Augusto has extensive experience building and managing investment banking franchises at Moelis & Company. He joined the Firm at its inception and was instrumental in establishing and leading Moelis & Company’s Middle East Investment Banking Group. Augusto has been based in Los Angeles, Dubai, London, New York, and Dallas.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Augusto was an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and a real estate investor with Preservation Partners Development. Before that, he held corporate finance and business development positions with Raytheon Company and Hughes Electronics. Augusto holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated first in his class, magna cum laude, with an M.B.A. from the University of Arizona.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Matt was Head of Innovation Capital at BlackRock, where he oversaw a $1.1 billion portfolio providing growth equity financing to mid- and late-stage venture-backed private companies across the AI, enterprise software, hardware, defense, and industrial technology sectors. Before BlackRock, he led Goldman Sachs’ BDC efforts for venture-backed and founder-owned companies, originating and structuring more than $600 million of growth debt and equity investments. Earlier in his career, Matt held roles at H.I.G. Capital, Credit Suisse, and Bridgewater Associates.
Matt earned a B.S. in International Politics and Security Studies, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. with Honors from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Angus served as Global Head of Private Capital Markets in New York and Head of Private Capital Markets for EMEA in London at Barclays. Earlier in his career, he held positions in the private placement market at Lehman Brothers and GE Capital. Angus holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A from the College of William and Mary. He is also a CFA charterholder.
