Kevin Voelte is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising clients in the upstream oil and gas sector and leads the Firm’s oil and gas Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) business. Mr. Voelte has more than 10 years of investment banking experience, primarily covering oil and gas exploration and production companies and financial sponsors. He has extensive experience executing mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and restructuring transactions across the energy space. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Voelte was an upstream oil and gas banker in the Global Natural Resources Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Houston. Before that, he worked in Washington, D.C. as the Director of Government Relations at The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association where he represented the ready mixed concrete industry on Capitol Hill covering energy, transportation, tax and labor issues.
Mr. Voelte holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance from Wayne State College in Nebraska and an M.B.A. from Rice University. He is also a graduate of the Bryce Harlow Institute on Business and Government Affairs at Georgetown University.
Craig Wadler is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in shareholder advisory and activist defense. Mr. Wadler has more than 20 years of investment banking experience, providing strategic advice to both hedge funds and corporations facing activist investors and other contested shareholder situations. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse where he was a founding member of the Hedge Fund Advisory business, which focused on working with portfolio companies and investments of hedge fund clients. Previously, Mr. Wadler worked at UBS Investment Bank where he founded a Hedge Fund coverage business in 2005. Prior to joining UBS Investment Bank, Mr. Wadler worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Mr. Wadler holds a B.S. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Osamu Watanabe is General Counsel at Moelis & Company. He was previously General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Sagent Advisors and prior to that held senior positions at UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, including General Counsel to GRP Partners, a venture capital fund affiliated with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Watanabe was in private practice at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Melbourne from 1987 to 1997 and clerked for the Honorable Morey L. Sear, Eastern District of Louisiana.
Mr. Watanabe holds a B.A. from Antioch College and a J.D. from Yale Law School, class of 1985.
Angus Whelchel is a Managing Director and Head of Private Capital Markets at Moelis & Company, focusing on the Firm’s public and private market origination and distribution capabilities. Mr. Whelchel has more than 20 years of investment banking experience, most recently as Global Head of Private Capital Markets at Barclays based in New York. Prior to that Mr. Whelchel was Head of Private Capital Markets for EMEA at Barclays based in London. Earlier in his career, Mr. Whelchel held positions at Lehman Brothers and GE Capital where he worked in the Private Placement market during his time there. During his career, Mr. Whelchel has helped clients raise over $200bn of private capital globally across debt and equity, and across all industries.
Mr. Whelchel holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A from the College of William and Mary. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Taryn Widén is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where she specializes in advising clients in the FinTech sector. Ms. Widén has over 15 years of investment banking experience, primarily in the FinTech investment banking space. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Widén worked at both Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse as a Director with a focus on FinTech. Ms. Widén spent the first seven years of her banking career at Lehman Brothers and Barclays where she specialized in Bank coverage and Product Structuring in both London and New York.
Ms. Widén holds a B.S. in Finance and Economics, with Honors in Finance, from the University of Cape Town. She is also a CFA Charterholder.
Andrew Wilson is a Managing Director of Moelis Australia in Corporate Finance. He has over 15 years of investment banking experience advising public and private companies on significant M&A transactions, corporate finance matters, debt financings, equity raisings and IPOs. He has particular expertise in advising general industrials and basic materials companies across the steel, building products, capital goods, transportation and logistics, packaging, forest products and industrial services sectors.
Notable transaction experience include BlueScope Steel’s US$1.4bn ASEAN coated steel building products joint venture with Nippon Steel, its US$720m acquisition of the North Star steel mini-mill and associated US$500m US Notes financing, Pact Group’s A$650m IPO, its A$145m acquisition of Asian packaging assets and associated A$176m equity raising, the A$200m IPO of Wagners construction materials, and Advent Partners’ A$178m sale of Integrated Packaging Group.
Andrew previously led General Industrials investment banking for Credit Suisse in Australia where he was also a member of the Asia Pacific Investment Banking Committee.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours in Econometrics (First Class) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
Ben Wong is a Managing Director at Moelis Australia. Mr. Wong has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and has advised clients on a variety of transactions including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and debt restructurings. Mr. Wong was previously an investment banker at JP Morgan and prior to that worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Wong holds a B.Comm in Finance and Economics from the University of New South Wales and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia.
Roger Wood is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Wood has 30 years of investment banking experience, during which he advised some of the largest global power and infrastructure companies on critical strategic transactions both in the United States and internationally. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Wood was Head of North American Utilities and Infrastructure and Global Co-Head of both Utilities and Infrastructure at Rothschild. Before this, he was a Managing Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citigroup and previously worked in Energy Investment Banking at JP Morgan in New York and London. Mr. Wood began his career as a member of JP Morgan’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group in London.

Chris Wyke is a Managing Director at Moelis Australia. Mr. Wyke has extensive restructuring, M&A and equity and debt capital markets experience. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Wyke worked in investment banking for JP Morgan and UBS in London, Singapore and Sydney where he originated and executed a wide range of domestic and international transactions.
Mr. Wyke holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honours from University College London.
Shlomo Yanai is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company. Mr. Yanai most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd from 2007 to 2012. Prior to Teva, he served four years as the Chief Executive Officer and President of ADAMA Agricultural Solutions Ltd. During his nearly 15 years as a corporate executive, Mr. Yanai has successfully completed over 20 acquisitions and integrations. Mr. Yanai currently holds board positions at a number of companies and organizations including his role as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the Governance and Compensation Committees at Cambrex, Director of Perrigo Public Limited Company, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Protalix BioTherapeutics.
Mr. Yanai holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University and an M.P.A in National Resources Management from the George Washington University. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School and U.S. National War College (NDU).
Tommaso Zanobini is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in advising clients in the FinTech sector. Mr. Zanobini has over 25 years of investment banking experience, primarily in the technology investment banking space. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Zanobini worked at Deutsche Bank where he was the Global Head of FinTech Investment Banking. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he was the Global Head of FinTech & Services Investment Banking at Jefferies. Mr. Zanobini spent the first 20 years of his banking career at Lehman Brothers and Barclays where he held roles including Global Head of Technology Services Investment Banking and Head of East Coast Technology Investment Banking.

Irene Zhang is a Managing Director and Global Head of Tax at Moelis & Company. Ms. Zhang established the Firm’s tax department and oversees global tax strategies and operations. She is responsible for the Firm’s tax planning, reporting and compliance and played an instrumental role in its IPO. Ms. Zhang has over 20 years of experience as a senior tax advisor and strategic business partner to financial services firms and alternative asset management businesses.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Zhang was with Ernst & Young’s M&A transaction tax practice where she advised private equity sponsors and corporate strategic investors on a variety of transactions, including M&A, divestitures, debt restructuring, fund formation and cross-border planning. Ms. Zhang began her career in Deloitte & Touche’s Private Client Advisor group where she advised asset management funds and their general partners on tax reporting and planning.
Ms. Zhang holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a M.S. in Taxation, both from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Xiuping Zhang is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Ms. Zhang has over 19 years of investment banking experience and was most recently Managing Director and Head of Asia M&A at Merrill Lynch. Previously, she was Managing Director and Head of China M&A at Deutsche Bank. She started her banking career with JP Morgan in New York in 1997. Ms. Zhang has extensive experience advising Asian, European and American clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Ms. Zhang holds a B.S. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an M.B.A. from Rollins College.
Elan Zivotofsky is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in providing financial and strategic advice to technology clients. Mr. Zivotofsky has over 20 years of experience raising capital for and investing in Israeli companies. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Zivotofsky served as Managing Director at Ibex Investors, where he led the funds’ growth stage venture investments in Israel. Prior to Ibex Investors, he was a Founding Partner at OurCrowd, a Jerusalem-based investment platform. Prior to that, he was Head of Technology investment banking at Lehman Brothers in Israel, and has held roles as a portfolio manager and top-ranked Israeli technology research analyst at Goldman Sachs. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in New York.

Daniel Zweben is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he advises clients in the media, entertainment and gaming industries. Mr. Zweben has extensive investment banking and corporate law experience and has completed a number of high profile mandates advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital raises and restructurings and recapitalizations. During his career, Mr. Zweben has provided strategic advice and innovative solutions to a broad spectrum of clients focused on digital media, film and television, sports and gaming.
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Zweben held roles at Lazard and UBS Investment Bank. He began his career as an M&A lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher and Flom in New York City.
