Neel Malviya is a Managing Director, General Counsel for EMEA and APAC as well as Chief Operating Officer Europe at Moelis & Company. Mr. Malviya has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer in both private practice and the financial services industry. Prior to Moelis & Company, he was head of the EMEA Investment Banking legal team at UBS Investment Bank for seven years and spent a period of time at Linklaters in London and Stockholm.

Mr. Malviya holds an L.L.B. from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. Mr. Malviya is a Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.

Charles Noel-Johnson

Charles Noel-Johnson is a Managing Director and Co-Head of EMEA Recapitalisation & Restructuring at Moelis & Company. Mr. Noel-Johnson has over 20 years investment banking experience advising corporates, sponsors and investors on a wide range of capital structure advisory assignments including new money financings, recapitalisations, amendment and restructuring transactions. Mr Noel-Johnson was a founding partner of the European and Middle East offices joining Moelis & Company in 2009. Mr Noel-Johnson was previously at Close Brothers Corporate Finance and JP Morgan Asset Management. Mr. Noel-Johnson was honoured by Financial News’ “40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Investment Banking” in 2011 and 2012.

Mr. Noel-Johnson holds a M.A. (Honors) in Politics from Edinburgh University and studied Political Science & International Relations at the University of California, San Diego. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Will Peters is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he focuses on clients in the tech, media, and telecom sectors, specializing in communications infrastructure and FinTech. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Peters worked at Barclays where he was a Managing Director and a senior member of the firm’s tech, media, and telecom coverage team in London. Prior to starting his investment banking career at Barclays, he spent six years in the British Army, serving with the 1st Battalion, The Duke of Wellington’s Regiment in Europe and the Middle East.

 

Mr. Peters holds an M.A. with Honors in Modern History from The University of St Andrews.

Matthew Prest

Matthew Prest is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe at Moelis & Company. Mr. Prest has over 20 years of financial restructuring experience advising companies, financial sponsors, secured lenders and bondholders. Additionally, he has provided clients with other investment banking services including raising debt and equity finance for distressed and non-distressed companies. He has performed key advisory roles in some of the most high-profile, sensitive and complex situations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia.

Prior to joining Moelis, Mr. Prest was a Managing Director in Close Brothers Corporate Finance’s restructuring team for 5 years. Mr. Prest has also held roles as Director of Restructuring at M&G Investment Management and Senior Manager in KPMG’s restructuring team.

Mr. Prest is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a BA in History from the University of Warwick.

Benoit Renon

Benoit Renon is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Renon was previously a Managing Director and Head of European Consumer Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in London. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Renon was responsible for industry coverage of consumer clients including food, beverage, tobacco and home and personal care companies across Europe, working on varied advisory and capital markets transactions. From 2001 to 2006 he was with Morgan Stanley in Paris, where he was a member of the French investment banking team advising key French clients across a wide variety of sectors. Prior to that, he was at Lazard Frères in Paris as a member of their French investment banking team for eight years.

After graduating from the ESSEC Business School and prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Renon spent two years as a bridge officer in the French Navy.

Caroline Silver is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where she specializes in global financial institutions advisory and capital raising. Ms. Silver has been in the investment banking industry for over 25 years and has extensive experience advising clients in the exchange and market infrastructure vertical as well as regulators in the U.K. and across Europe. Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2010, Ms. Silver was Vice Chairman of EMEA Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Previously, she spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley, where she was Global Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and previously held a number of senior positions including European Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Restructuring. Ms. Silver also worked in M&A and corporate finance at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell for seven years and started her career as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Silver holds a B.A. in English with Spanish from Durham University.

Robert Sorrell is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company in London, where he focuses on advising private equity funds across Europe. Mr. Sorrell has over 25 years of investment banking and asset management experience. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Sorrell worked at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Private Finance Group, and a Managing Director in the Telecom, Media and Technology investment banking team. Mr. Sorrell also founded and was CIO of an independent asset management firm.

Mr. Sorrell holds an M.A. from Cambridge University.

Yorick van Slingelandt is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Europe at Moelis & Company, where he is responsible for building out the Firm’s financial advisory and capital raising services across the region. Prior to this, Mr. van Slingelandt was Head of Moelis & Company in Middle East & North Africa. Mr. van Slingelandt has over 23 years of investment banking experience in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. He has significant expertise in cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions across a variety of industries, including aerospace, defense, transport, infrastructure and telecommunications. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. van Slingelandt was Head of Corporate Finance at J.P. Morgan in MENA. While at J.P. Morgan, he also served as Head of EMEA Transport and Infrastructure and worked in Hong Kong to develop the company’s M&A team in Asia.

Mr. van Slingelandt serves on the Board of Directors of Education for Employment. He holds an engineering and business degree (Ingénieur Commercial et de Gestion) from Université Catholique de Louvain and a Masters in Management from the Community of European Management Schools.
