Moelis Hires Matthew Rosedale as a Managing Director in its European Financial Sponsors Business
Appointment reflects the Firm’s continued investment in senior coverage across the region
London, September 21, 2026 Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC), a leading global independent investment bank, today announced the appointment of Matthew Rosedale as a Managing Director. Based in London, Matt will join Managing Directors Robert Sorrell and Edouard Debost in leading the Firm’s Financial Sponsors business across Europe.
Matt brings more than 20 years of investment banking experience and deep relationships with leading financial sponsors, advising clients across M&A, capital markets and private capital solutions. He joins Moelis from Jefferies, where he was a Managing Director in the European Financial Sponsors Group. Previously, Matt spent nearly two decades at J.P. Morgan in London and New York, on both their M&A team and Financial Sponsors Group.
