Biography

Rich Saltzman is a Managing Director and Head of GP-led Advisory at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in Private Capital Advisory with a focus on secondaries advisory and sponsor-led capital solutions. Rich brings over 20 years of finance and banking experience and over 15 years of experience advising financial sponsors on strategic alternatives and liquidity solutions in the secondary market, with extensive expertise across single- and multi-asset continuation vehicles, strip sales, tender offers, and other structured solutions.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Rich was a Managing Director at Jefferies where he was instrumental in building the GP-led advisory practice in his leadership role. Previously, he held senior roles in secondary advisory at Guggenheim and Houlihan Lokey. Earlier in his career, he worked at a boutique investment bank focused on M&A and restructuring.

Rich holds a B.A. in Economics from Union College.
