Biography

Greg Starkins is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in advising industrial companies across the aerospace and defense and multi-industry sectors. Greg has over 25 years of investment banking experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions, as well as shareholder advisory and activist defense situations.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Greg led advisory efforts across the diversified industrials, capital goods and services, and global aerospace and defense sectors at Deutsche Bank. Before that, Greg was a member of the M&A team at Merrill Lynch, where he also coordinated the firm’s global aerospace and defense advisory practice. Greg began his career as an M&A lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Organizational Behavior/Management from Brown University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
