Biography

Mark Renton is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in providing financial and strategic advice to oil and gas clients. Mark has over 35 years of investment banking experience advising energy companies, particularly in the upstream and oilfield services sectors.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mark was a Managing Director in the Energy Group at Lazard and Vice Chairman of the Global Energy Group at Citigroup Global Markets. He also served as Head of Investment Banking for Asia-Pacific and Co-Head of the Public Sector Group at Citigroup. Mark holds a B.A. and M.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Christ Church at the University of Oxford and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
