Biography

Andrew Nicholls is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in advising clients in the Industrials sector across EMEA, with a focus on Metals & Mining. Andrew brings over two decades of sector expertise across a range of transactions, including cross-border M&A, capital raisings, and restructurings.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Andrew was Head of EMEA Metals, Mining & Transition Materials at HSBC, where he focused on emerging markets linked to M&A and financings. Previously, Andrew spent nearly a decade at Credit Suisse, most recently serving as Head of EMEA Metals & Mining Investment Banking. Before that, he held roles at Standard Bank in Hong Kong and Ernst & Young in Australia. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and has qualified as a Chartered Accountant with CA ANZ.
