Biography

Robert Jackman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in providing strategic and financial advice to clients in the software sector. He has over 20 years of investment banking experience, having transacted across a broad spectrum of corporate finance matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, initial public offerings, spinoffs, and leveraged recapitalizations.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Robert was a Senior Managing Director of Tech Investment Banking at SVB Securities. He previously served as a Managing Director at UBS and helped manage the portfolio of private investments for CYMI, the Mathile family office. Robert also served as an operating executive and CEO of a portfolio company and was Co-Head of Technology M&A at Jefferies & Company. He began his career as an M&A lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell. Robert holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and master’s degrees from the University of Kentucky and Yale Law School.
