Biography

Steven Halperin is a Managing Director and Head of Equity Public Markets at Moelis & Company, where he focuses on public and private market origination and distribution. Steven has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has originated, structured, and executed over 100 convertible capital raises and equity derivative transactions, as well as dozens of subordinated debt, preferred, and equity capital issuances across the U.S. and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Steven was Americas Head of Equity-Linked & Hybrid Solutions at Barclays. Before that, he was Co-Head of EMEA Equity Capital Markets after leading EMEA Equity-Linked Origination. He began his career at Lehman Brothers. Steven holds a B.S.M. in Economics and Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and is a CFA charterholder.
