Kenneth D. Moelis
Chief Executive Officer

Ken Moelis is the Chief Executive Officer of Moelis & Company. Mr. Moelis has had a unique 25-year career on Wall Street during which he has helped build and manage two of the most successful investment banking growth stories of the past two decades. Prior to founding Moelis & Company, Mr. Moelis was President of UBS Investment Bank where his responsibilities included oversight of the investment banking business, sourcing and supporting high-profile banking transactions, implementing various firm-wide client initiatives and building relationships with key corporate and institutional clients across the firm. Prior to this role, Mr. Moelis was Joint Global Head of the Investment Banking Department (“IBD”) and Head of IBD Americas. During his time at UBS, Mr. Moelis served on numerous UBS boards and committees, including the UBS Group Managing Board, UBS Investment Bank Management Committee and UBS Investment Bank Board. In addition, he was the Chairman of the UBS Investment Bank Client Committee, the Global IBD Management Committee and the IBD Americas Executive Committee.

Prior to UBS, Mr. Moelis was Head of Corporate Finance and Co-Head of the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette ("DLJ"). Mr. Moelis began his investment banking career in 1981 at Drexel Burnham Lambert where he helped the firm pioneer the use of high yield debt to finance high-growth companies and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Moelis is Chairman of the Tourette Syndrome Association and a member of the Wharton Board of Overseers and the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Hospital. He holds an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mark Aedy
Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Investment Banking

Mark Aedy is a Managing Director and the Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Investment Banking at Moelis & Company. Mr. Aedy is an investment banking veteran with over 30 years of extensive experience building and managing leading investment banking franchises. Most recently, he served as Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and was a member of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Executive Committee. Prior to that role, he held several senior management positions at Merrill Lynch in EMEA, including Head of Investment Banking, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Head of General Industrials. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2000, Mr. Aedy was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. Over the course of his career, Mr. Aedy has advised many of the most prominent clients in the Americas, EMEA, Pac-Rim and Australia on critical strategic transactions.

Frank Amato
Managing Director

Frank Amato is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Amato has 18 years of corporate finance and accounting experience, most recently as a Managing Director and Global Chief Operating Officer of Real Estate & Securitization at UBS. In this role, he focused on strategic initiatives with senior management, business planning, forecasting and establishing sound internal controls within the Fixed Income Group to mitigate risks. He also worked closely with regulators on global reviews. Prior to UBS, Mr. Amato was an Auditor at both KPMG and BDO Seidman.

Mr. Amato received a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University.

Kristian Bagger
Managing Director

Kristian Bagger is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Bagger joined Moelis & Company in 2008 after a 20-year career at Deutsche Bank, most recently as a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and previously as Head of Nordic & BeNeLux Investment Banking and Head of the Industrials, Consumer and Healthcare Industry Groups. While at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bagger built leading franchises in the Nordic and BeNeLux regions and served on Deutsche Bank's European Investment Banking Management Committee. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bagger was an investment banker at Smith Barney. Over the years, Mr. Bagger has advised clients in a variety of industries on the full spectrum of corporate finance matters, specializing in mergers & acquisitions.

Mr. Bagger received an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Julian Biggins
Managing Director

Julian Biggins is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Biggins has nearly a decade of investment banking experience, most recently as a member of JPMorgan's Asia-Pacific Real Estate Investment Banking team, where he provided capital structure and transaction advisory services to real estate companies and funds management clients in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Biggin was previously on the real estate research team at UBS, where he focused on the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) industry and provided strategic, quantitative and qualitative studies to Australian and international institutional clients. Mr. Biggins has extensive experience in global real estate markets with advisory roles to Australian companies acquiring real estate or real estate businesses in the United States, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Japan and China.

Mr. Biggins holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) in addition to a Bachelor of Business (Banking and Finance) from the University of South Australia.

John Binnie
Managing Director

John Binnie is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Binnie has a long career of advising financial services clients across sectors such as credit cards, mortgages, consumer finance and commercial finance and leasing on a wide range of corporate finance matters including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and restructurings.   Mr. Binnie began his career in 1985 at Salomon Brothers, where he spent 18 years and transitioned with the firm to Citigroup, ultimately becoming the Co-Head of the Banking and Diversified Financials Group.  After his time at Citigroup, Mr. Binnie was the Head of Diversified Financials at Morgan Stanley.  Mr. Binnie was most recently the Lead Capital Markets Partner at Southgate Alternative Investments.

Mr. Binnie was a Morehead Scholar and received a B.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Thane W. Carlston
Co-Head of Recapitalization & Restructuring Group

Thane Carlston is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company. Mr. Carlston has been in the investment banking industry for 18 years. From 1998 until joining Moelis & Company in 2008, he was Co-Head of the Recapitalization and Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company. During his leadership, Jefferies advised on nearly $200 billion of restructuring transactions. Before joining Jefferies, he ran the New York office for Chanin and Company, a boutique investment banking firm specialized in providing restructuring advice. Mr. Carlston has advised clients in a variety of industries on exchange offers, recapitalizations, restructurings, financings, and M&A transactions.

Mr. Carlston received his B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah and his M.B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Ed Chiang is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Chiang has over 20 years of investment banking experience and was most recently a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities, where he was Group Head of Private Equity Placements and a member of the Equity Capital Markets Operating Committee. At Banc of America Securities, Mr. Chiang built a business spanning seven different industries and executed over $10 billion in equity and equity-linked transactions for public and private issuers globally, with financial as well as strategic investors. Prior to joining Banc of America Securities in 1999, Mr. Chiang was an investment banker in the Private Equity and the Mergers & Acquisitions groups at Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Chiang received an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.

John K. Collins
Managing Director

John Collins is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Collins has almost 20 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley, where Mr. Collins advised companies from a broad range of industries on a wide variety of complex transactions including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and public market-focused divestitures including subsidiary IPOs, split-offs and spin-offs. Most recently, Mr. Collins was responsible for clients in the metals and mining, paper, packaging and chemicals sectors. Mr. Collins worked at Morgan Stanley for the full span of his career and previously also worked in the firm's Real Estate Group in London and New York.

Mr. Collins holds an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Harlem Educational Activities Fund.

Peter Corbell
Managing Director

Peter Corbell is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Corbell has 14 years of restructuring, principal investing and investment banking experience. He has advised clients on financial restructurings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters aggregating over $55 billion in transaction value. Most recently, Mr. Corbell was at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP acting as Special Counsel in the firm's Financial Restructuring Group, after having spent several years in the Financial Restructuring Group of Chanin Capital Partners where he was a Managing Director. Mr. Corbell also worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse, and before this, at a Beijing-based principal investment fund where he evaluated and executed investment opportunities in China and New Zealand.

Mr. Corbell received a B.A. in East Asian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from the University of Southern California.

Elizabeth Crain
Chief Operating Officer

Elizabeth Crain is the Chief Operating Officer of Moelis & Company. Ms. Crain has been in the investment banking and private equity industries for almost 20 years as a banker, principal and operations specialist. She was most recently a Managing Director in the UBS Investment Bank Office of the CEO and President and served as the Manager of the UBS Investment Bank Client Committee and member of the UBS Investment Bank Board. In this capacity, Ms. Crain helped to set the strategic direction of the Investment Bank, particularly around aligning the firm to better capture high growth client segment opportunities. Prior to this, Ms. Crain was both the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of the UBS Investment Banking Department Americas franchise, where she played a critical role in the build-out of both the Global and Americas IBD platforms.

Before joining UBS, Ms. Crain was a principal at McCown De Leeuw and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and an investment banker at Merrill Lynch. She holds a B.A. from Arizona State University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Robert C. Crowley
Managing Director

Bob Crowley is a Managing Director and Head of the Boston Office of Moelis & Company. Mr. Crowley has been in the investment banking industry for 15 years, most recently as a Managing Director and Global Head of High Yield Capital Markets at UBS. At the time of his departure from UBS, Mr. Crowley served on the Investment Banking Department’s Executive Committee (Americas) and the Credit Fixed Income Department’s Management Committee (Global). Prior to running High Yield Capital Markets, Mr. Crowley was a senior investment banker in the firm’s Global Industrial Group, where he led top franchises in the homebuilding and environmental services sectors. Mr. Crowley started his banking career at Salomon Brothers and worked at BankBoston before joining UBS. Before becoming a banker, Mr. Crowley was a high yield research analyst covering the homebuilding/building materials sectors.

Mr. Crowley received a B.A. in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College.

Charles G. Denison
Managing Director

Charlie Denison is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Denison has over 30 years of investment banking experience. Most recently, Mr. Denison ran the Chicago office of Deutsche Bank and predecessor Bankers Trust since 1994, and was responsible for overseeing the firm's investment banking activities in the Midwest as well as coordinating the strategies of the private wealth and asset management businesses. From 1996 to 2008 he was also Co-Head of the Industrials Investment Banking Group and was responsible for its Paper and Packaging sector practice. During his career, Mr. Denison has advised clients on numerous transactions across mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and debt and equity financings. Mr. Denison joined Bankers Trust in 1987 from Harris Bank.

Mr. Denison received an A.B. in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Lyric Opera of Chicago since 1995 and of Chicago Youth Centers since 1990. He was a member of The Chicago Children's Museum Board of Directors from 1990 until 1998.

Jared Dermont
Managing Director

Jared Dermont is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Dermont has over 13 years of mergers and acquisitions and restructuring experience, most recently as a Managing Director at Rothschild, where he originated and executed numerous in-court and out-of-court restructuring and M&A transactions for companies, creditors and regulators across a wide spectrum of industries.  Prior to Rothschild, Mr. Dermont was a Vice President in the Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Banc of America Securities.  He began his career at Peter J. Solomon Company.

William Q. Derrough
Co-Head of Recapitalization & Restructuring Group

Bill Derrough is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company. Mr. Derrough has been in the investment banking industry for 20 years. From 1998 until joining Moelis & Company, he co-founded and co-headed the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company. During his leadership, Jefferies completed over 125 transactions representing nearly $200 billion. While at Jefferies, Mr. Derrough advised a wide spectrum of clients and investors on restructurings, recapitalizations, financings, mergers, and other engagements.

Prior to joining Jefferies, Mr. Derrough was a Principal at Doyle & Boissiere, a private investment firm, and before this, a Senior Vice President of Chanin & Company, an investment banking firm focused on restructuring advice, and a generalist in corporate finance at Salomon Brothers.

Mr. Derrough received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Edward C. Eppler
Managing Director

Ed Eppler is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Eppler has been in the investment banking industry for 18 years, most recently as the Head of the Aerospace and Defense Group at CIBC World Markets. While at CIBC, Mr. Eppler successfully built leading market positions in several industry sectors, including aerospace and defense, communications technology and industrial services. He initiated and managed the full spectrum of corporate finance transactions, including public and private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings, leveraged buyouts and a broad range of financial advisory services. Prior to joining CIBC, Mr. Eppler was an officer at S.N. Phelps & Co., Vice President at First Funding Corp. and before this, began his career at E.F. Hutton and Company, Inc.

David P. Faris
Managing Director

David Faris is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Faris has been in the investment banking industry for 16 years, most recently as a Managing Director in the Chemicals Investment Banking Group at Credit Suisse. During his tenure at Credit Suisse, Mr. Faris advised on a wide variety of domestic and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, restructurings and leveraged buyouts.

Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Faris was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he provided a broad range of investment banking services to chemical and other general industrial companies and also worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.  Mr. Faris joined DLJ from Schroders where he worked in the investment banking group covering chemical and general industrial companies.  He began his investment banking career in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Faris holds a B.A. from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Robert Farrington
Managing Director

Rob Farrington is a Managing Director and Head of Sales Trading at Moelis & Company in Australia. Mr. Farrington has over 20 years of experience within the financial industry across equity derivatives sales, execution and trading, futures sales and institutional equity sales. Most recently, Mr. Farrington was a Director in Institutional Equity Sales Trading at Credit Suisse and Head of Domestic Sales for the sales trading division. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Farrington worked at UBS where he was a Managing Director in Institutional Equity Sales Trading. During his career, Mr. Farrington also worked in equity derivatives sales and execution at Macquarie Bank, ANZ Bank and Ord Minnett.

John Garrett
Managing Director

John Garrett is a Managing Director of Hedge Fund Sales at Moelis & Company in Australia. Mr. Garrett has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry across property investment sales, equity research, sales trading, risk arbitrage, long/short and special situations. Most recently, Mr. Garrett was Head of Hedge Fund Sales at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Garrett joined UBS in 1996 as a REIT analyst on the Australian Equities Research team and was responsible for REIT trading/sales from 1997 through 2002. Between 2002 and 2007, Mr. Garrett was Head of Sales Trading at UBS.

Mr. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Business in Property/Valuation and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is also an Accredited Level 1 and Level 2 Derivatives Advisor on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Stuart Goldstein
Managing Director

Stu Goldstein is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Goldstein has been in the investment banking industry for 12 years, most recently as a Managing Director and the Head of West Coast Technology Investment Banking at Citigroup. While at Citigroup, he provided strategic advisory services to technology companies on the full spectrum of corporate finance matters, in particular mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Goldstein was previously a Managing Director in Citigroup's Mergers and Acquisitions Group and managed its Enterprise Software and Communications Equipment M&A franchises. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Goldstein was a law clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. Scirica of the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Goldstein received a B.S in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

John T. Grady
Senior Advisor

John Grady is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company. Mr. Grady has over 25 years of experience in financial services in senior positions across asset management, private wealth management and banking. He was most recently a Managing Director and Head of New Business Development at Athena Capital, an investment management firm based outside Boston. Previously, Mr. Grady was at Lehman Brothers where he was the Managing Director responsible for the Investment Management Division in New England. Mr. Grady also spent 14 years at State Street Global Advisors, where he was a Managing Director in the Global Private Client Group, a member of State Street Corporation's Executive Operating Group and was responsible for institutional sales, client service, consultant relations and charitable asset management.

Mr. Grady is a member of the Board of Overseers at Brigham Women's Hospital and serves on the Board of Directors of the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies. He is also a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Belmont Hill School. Mr. Grady received a B.A. from Boston University.

Anthony Guagliano
Managing Director

Anthony Guagliano is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Guagliano has been in the investment banking industry for twelve years. Prior to Moelis & Company, Mr. Guagliano was a Director in the UBS Mergers and Acquisitions Group. He has originated and executed a wide variety of M&A and leveraged finance transactions for both public and private companies and has executed transactions across a number of different industries including consumer and retail, healthcare, TMT, industrials and financial services. Over the course of his career, Mr. Guagliano has developed deep relationships with a number of private equity firms as well as corporate management teams. Mr. Guagliano was previously an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and then served as the Director of Finance at Nomadix, Inc.

Mr. Guagliano received a B.A., Honours Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Andrew Haber
Managing Director

Andrew Haber is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Haber has over 11 years of investment banking experience and joined Moelis & Company in July 2008. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and other advisory services within the Telecom/Media/Technology sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Haber was with Bear Stearns for 10 years, most recently as a Managing Director where he was responsible for M&A coverage and execution in the Telecom/Media/Technology Group. He has advised clients on a wide variety of transactions, including domestic and international acquisitions (public and private), spin-offs/split-offs, leveraged buyouts, exclusive sales, joint ventures, highly contested transactions and in-court and out-of-court restructurings with an aggregate value of over $100 billion.

Prior to receiving his M.B.A., Mr. Haber spent three years with Booz Allen Hamilton as a Management Consultant, where he advised clients across various industries in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.

Mr. Haber received a B.A. from the University of Michigan cum laude and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Richard Harding
Managing Director

Rich Harding is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Harding joined Moelis & Company from the Global Healthcare Group at Citigroup where he originated and executed a wide variety of corporate finance transactions in the healthcare sector, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and other equity and debt transactions. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Harding worked in the healthcare industry at Health Dialog Services Corporation.

Mr. Harding received a B.A. in Economics and Government from Connecticut College and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan.

Mark W. Henkels
Managing Director

Mark Henkels is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Henkels has been in the investment banking industry for 18 years, most recently as the Head of the Industrial Growth and Services Group at CIBC World Markets.  While at CIBC, Mr. Henkels built one of Wall Street’s leading industrial franchises serving senior executives in the metals, capital goods, chemicals, aerospace and defense, logistics and building products sectors.

Prior to joining CIBC, Mr. Henkels was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, responsible for the global capital goods, building products, steel and aluminum sectors.  Mr. Henkels' previous positions include:  Director in Salomon Brothers' Select Industries Group; Vice President in Smith Barney's Metals and Mining Group; and Senior Vice President, General Corporate Finance at Kemper Securities.

Mr. Henkels has a B.A. in Accounting from Creighton University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Roger Hoit
Managing Director

Roger Hoit is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Hoit has over 20 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Managing Director in the Global Financial Sponsors Group at Morgan Stanley.  While at Morgan Stanley, he built a leading franchise advising financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on strategic transactions and investment opportunities.  In this role, he originated and executed the full spectrum of corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity and debt financings and derivative transactions.  Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2000, Mr. Hoit was a Managing Director at SG Cowen, a division of Société Générale, and previously a Managing Director and Partner at Gleacher & Co.  Mr. Hoit began his career at PaineWebber Incorporated.

Stanley W. Holtz
Managing Director

Stan Holtz is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Holtz has over 20 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Managing Director and Head of US Telecom Investment Banking at Bank of America.  While at Bank of America, Mr. Holtz built a leading franchise advising telecom companies on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, restructurings and leveraged buyouts.   Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Holtz was a Managing Director and Head of US Wireless Communication Services Investment Banking at UBS as well as a Managing Director in the Media and Telecommunications Group at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.  Mr. Holtz began his career at Smith Barney.

Mark Hootnick
Managing Director

Mark Hootnick is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Hootnick has over 14 years of experience providing restructuring advice to companies, creditors, shareholders and other interested parties on restructuring transactions both in Chapter 11 and in non-bankruptcy driven resolutions. Mr. Hootnick was most recently a Managing Director at Broadpoint Securities and previously a Managing Director at Imperial Capital and Greenhill & Co. He also served as a founding member of Miller Buckfire after beginning his career as an attorney at Kramer, Levin, Naftalis & Frankel.

Mr. Hootnick holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.

David Iron is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Iron has 24 years of experience in institutional equities sales trading and distribution both in Australia and the US and was most recently a Director and equity sales trader at Royal Bank of Scotland. Previously, Mr. Iron was a sales trader at UBS and Head of Sales Trading in Australia at Credit Suisse. During his career Mr. Iron also held senior positions in sales and trading at HSBC, Bank of America Merrill Lynch (formerly McIntosh Securities) and JB Were & Sons. Mr. Iron began his career at Price Waterhouse where he was admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

John P. Joliet
Managing Director

John Joliet is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Joliet has 15 years of investment banking experience and was most recently Managing Director and Global Head of Software Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. He also served as the Head of UBS Investment Bank's Los Angeles office.

While at UBS, Mr. Joliet's team advised and financed many leading software companies in the ERP, Enterprise Applications, SaaS, Business Intelligence and Security subsectors, with a particular focus on high-growth, middle-market companies. Prior to joining UBS in 2001, Mr. Joliet had been with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette for his entire career, advising high-growth companies and LBO sponsors in diverse sectors including Business Services, Technology, Media, Financial Institutions and Wireless Communications.

Mr. Joliet and his family are active supporters of St. Paul's Parish in Westwood, and several organizations dedicated to finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Mr. Joliet received a B.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A., with honors, from the University of Chicago.

Kasim Kutay is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Kurt B. Larsen
Managing Partner of Private Equity

Kurt Larsen is Managing Partner of the Private Equity Business of Moelis & Company. Mr. Larsen has been in the private equity industry for 21 years during which time he has invested across a wide spectrum of industries and throughout the capital structure. Over the years, Mr. Larsen has invested through a variety of economic cycles and has adjusted his investment strategy to adapt to these differing environments, including employing a “buy and build” strategy during the 1990s and a more opportunistic approach in recent years.

Mr. Larsen was most recently a Managing Director at Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. where he focused on middle-market private equity and subordinated debt investments across a number of industries. He played an integral role in all aspects of the investment process and actively worked with management teams and boards to deliver value creation.

Prior to joining Cerberus in 2003, Mr. Larsen served as the Managing Partner of Black Diamond Capital Partners, a private equity firm which he founded. Before founding Black Diamond in 1998, Mr. Larsen was a Principal at Aurora Capital Group, a middle-market private equity firm. Before joining Aurora Capital, Mr. Larsen worked as an Associate at WSGP Partners, a private equity firm founded by William E. Simon and Gerald L. Parsky. Mr. Larsen began his career as an Analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert and attended the University of Utah.

J. Richard Leaman III

Rick Leaman is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Leaman has 25 years of investment banking experience, most recently as Chairman of UBS Investment Bank's Investment Banking Division as well as a member of the Investment Bank's Executive Committee. From 2005 to 2009, he served as both Global Head of Investment Banking and Joint Global Head of Investment Banking at UBS, overseeing over 2,000 bankers for coverage of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and advisory services to corporate and institutional clients, governments and financial sponsors. He was previously Joint Global Head of M&A at UBS as well as Co-Head of Healthcare Banking at Dillon Read & Co. Inc., which was acquired by UBS in 1997. He began his career in investment banking at Smith Barney, Harris Upham & Co. Incorporated.

Mr. Leaman holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Mr. Leaman is a member of the Board of Visitors for the Fuqua School of Business.

Vincent Lima

Vinny Lima is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Lima has over 18 years of experience in investment banking, most recently at Christopher Street Capital, where he was a founding partner of the US credit business and a Managing Director in charge of capital markets. Prior to Christopher Street Capital, he worked at Citigroup and Salomon Brothers for 17 years and was a Managing Director and Head of High Yield Syndicate. Previously, he was the Head of North America High Yield Sales, overseeing relationships with major institutional accounts, and worked in High Grade Sales for the firm in Boston, Chicago and New York.

Navid Mahmoodzadegan is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Justin Mirro

Justin Mirro is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Steven G. Panagos

Steve Panagos is a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Panagos is a widely recognized turnaround expert and has a long and distinguished career of leading complex bankruptcies and reorganizations across a broad spectrum of industries.  Mr. Panagos was the National Practice Leader of Kroll Zolfo Cooper’s Corporate Advisory & Restructuring Practice.  During his 20 year tenure at Kroll Zolfo Cooper, Mr. Panagos provided restructuring advice to numerous companies and also served as Chief Operating Officer and President of Krispy Kreme, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer of Penn Traffic Supermarkets as well as several interim management positions at many other companies.  Before joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Panagos was a Founder of Panagos Katz Situational Investing.

Mr. Panagos received his B.S. from the University of Michigan.  He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors and a member of the Turnaround Management Association.  In addition, Mr. Panagos has provided expert witness testimony regarding valuation and restructuring matters.

Dominick Petrosino
Managing Director

Dom Petrosino is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Petrosino has been involved in capital markets and investment banking for 16 years, most recently as the Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets at Bear Stearns. While at Bear Stearns, he managed a leading business focused on providing capital structure solutions, including underwriting, structuring and executing leveraged loans, high yield notes and mezzanine financings. Matthew Prest

Mr. Raich has advised on over 150 M&A transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. His clients have included public and private companies, private equity firms and hedge funds.

Mr. Raich is a member of the McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board at the University of Virginia. He received a B.S. with Distinction in Commerce from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (Beta Gamma Sigma).

Benoit Renon

Benoit Renon is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Renon has over 17 years of investment banking experience and was most recently a Managing Director and Head of European Consumer Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley in London. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Renon was responsible for industry coverage of consumer clients including food, beverage, tobacco, and home and personal care companies across Europe, working on varied advisory and capital markets transactions. Yadin Rozov
Managing Director

Yadin Rozov is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.   Mr. Rozov has a decade of fixed income trading, structuring and risk management experience, most recently as a Managing Director and the Americas Head of the Repositioning Group at UBS Investment Bank.   In this role, Mr. Rozov was instrumental in the implementation of the strategic exiting of legacy businesses and risk positions across the bank, including complex structured and securitized products with underlying credit, real estate and consumer obligations.   Prior to the Repositioning Group, Mr. Rozov was Global Co-Head of the Structured Products Group at UBS.  Before UBS, Mr. Rozov was a Credit Derivatives Trader at Citigroup Global Markets.

Mr. Rozov graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Physics and did graduate work in Mathematics in Finance at New York University.

Alexander S. Rubin

Chris Ryan has over 25 years of investment banking and fixed income experience, including trading, structuring, capital markets, research, sales and risk management as well as extensive experience building and managing fixed income businesses around the world.  Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Ryan spent nine years at UBS Investment Bank, where he was Global Head of Credit Fixed Income.  Before UBS, Mr. Ryan was Global Head of Syndicated Loans at Lehman Brothers, which he joined in 1992.  He was the sole founder of the firm’s loan business.  Mr. Ryan began his career at Salomon Brothers.

Mr. Ryan graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. in Mathematics and Economics from Duke University.

Augusto Sasso

Augusto Sasso is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Mr. Sasso has 11 years of diversified investment banking experience with Moelis & Company, Credit Suisse First Boston, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Preservation Partners Development and six years of corporate finance experience with Raytheon Company and Hughes Electronics. Prior to joining DLJ, Mr. Sasso spent six years working in corporate finance and business management for the Raytheon Company and Hughes Electronics.

Kevin B. Scheetz

Mr. Share was previously a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, where he most recently focused on financial services and insurance investments. Prior to joining Fortress, Mr. Share was a Vice President at Madison Dearborn Partners where he specialized in private equity investing in the media and communications sectors. Andrew Shore is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Before Deutsche Bank, Mr. Shore was a Managing Director at both Paine Webber and Prudential Securities and began his career at Shearson Lehman Brothers.

Caroline Silver is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.  Ms. Silver has been in the investment banking industry for over 23 years and was  most recently Vice Chairman of EMEA Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to this, she spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley, where she was Global Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and previously held a number of senior positions including European Head of Financial Institutions and Head of Restructuring. Ms. Silver also worked in M&A and corporate finance at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell for seven years and started her career as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Silver holds a B.A. in English and Spanish from Durham University.

Joseph W. Simon
Chief Financial Officer

Joe Simon is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Moelis & Company. Mr. Simon has over 25 years of experience as a senior manager of financial controls, operations and strategy and has particular experience with financial services firms, most recently serving as CFO of Financial Security Assurance for seven years. While at Financial Security Assurance, Mr. Simon re-engineered the treasury and accounting areas to enhance the firm's financial planning and analysis, allocation of capital and transparency of financial reporting. In addition, he led several financing transactions for the firm.

Prior to Financial Security Assurance, Mr. Simon worked at Cantor Fitzgerald where he served as CFO, Global Controller and Global Head of Operations. During his time at Cantor Fitzgerald, he managed a global accounting and operations team and established the firm's treasury function. Before joining Cantor Fitzgerald in 1993, Mr. Simon was a Principal and Vice President of Fixed Income Product Control at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Simon has also served as CFO of IntraLinks and TENTV.com. He began his career at Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Simon holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from The University of Michigan. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

John A. Sipp
Managing Director

John Sipp is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Sipp has over 23 years of investment banking experience and was most recently a Managing Director and Head of the Insurance Investment Banking Group for the Americas at Credit Suisse. Mr. Sipp joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 1998 as a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group. Following the firm's acquisition by Credit Suisse in 2000 he managed the group responsible for coverage of the insurance industry and worked closely with senior executives of insurance companies in the US, Europe and Asia on strategic and financial matters including capital raising, risk management, mergers and acquisitions and financings. He previously worked at UBS Investment Bank and also within the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs for 11 years.

Mr. Sipp received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

John Steinthal
Managing Director

John Steinthal is a Managing Director and Head of Equities for Australia at Moelis & Company. Mr. Steinthal has over 20 years of experience in equities and was most recently a co-founder and principal of Edward Baillie Capital where he created and managed a successful suite of unlisted alternative investment products. Mr. Steinthal previously spent 14 years at UBS, where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Australasian Equities. Under Mr. Steinthal's leadership, UBS was consistently a top-ranked equities franchise in Australia and attained a record market share for Australian equities trading.

Mr. Steinthal received a Bachelor of Business (Distinction) from Victoria University of Technology.

Kenneth A. Viellieu
Managing Director

Ken Viellieu is a Managing Director and Head of the Chicago Office of Moelis & Company. Mr. Viellieu has been in the investment banking industry for almost 25 years, most recently as a Senior Managing Director and Head of Midwest Investment Banking at Bear Stearns and previously as a Managing Director and Head of the Chicago Office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and an investment banker at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Over the course of his career, he has advised clients in a broad range of industries on the full spectrum of corporate finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance transactions, public and private equity offerings and corporate restructurings. In particular, he has worked closely with clients in the retail and consumer, food and drug retailing, industrial and transportation, financial services, healthcare and media sectors.

Mr. Viellieu is a member of the Children's Memorial Hospital Foundation Board and a Director and Patron of the Big Shoulders Fund. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and the Board of Trustees for North Shore Country Day School. Mr. Viellieu is a licensed C.P.A. and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago.

Peter Vogelsang
General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Peter Vogelsang is a Managing Director and General Counsel as well as the Chief Compliance Officer of Moelis & Company. Mr. Vogelsang has practiced law for over 20 years, most recently as Co-Head of Coverage for Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, focused on the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. During his 18 year career at Morgan Stanley, he was also counsel to the Merchant Banking Division, Real Estate Investing businesses and Trust Company. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Vogelsang was an Associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel.

Mr. Vogelsang graduated from Tufts University magna cum laude and received a J.D. from Columbia Law School.

Todd Wadler
Managing Director

Todd Wadler is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Wadler has been in the investment banking industry for 15 years.  Prior to the founding of Moelis & Company, Mr. Wadler was a Managing Director in the UBS Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Group and previously was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Wadler has originated and executed on numerous restructuring and other leveraged finance transactions, including bank amendments and in-court and out-of-court restructurings as well as new capital raisings through the issuance of bank, high yield and mezzanine financings in connection with leveraged buy-outs and recapitalizations. In addition, Mr. Wadler has also originated and executed on a number of M&A and equity transactions throughout his career, with extensive experience in exclusive sale transactions. Over the course of his career, Mr. Wadler has advised many leading financial sponsors and public and private companies.

Mr. Wadler holds a B.S. in Finance with Distinction from Indiana University.

Brian M. Webber
Managing Director

Brian Webber is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Webber has over 17 years of investment banking experience. He joined UBS Investment Bank in 2001 and was most recently Managing Director and Global Head of Technology Investment Banking. Prior to joining UBS he worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and was the Head of Business and Technology Services Investment Banking. Mr. Webber previously worked in technology product development at Ford Motor Company.

Mr. Webber is active in the community and is an Advisory Board member of the Vision Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Mr. Webber received a B.A. from the University of Utah and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Roger Wood
Managing Director

Roger Wood is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Wood has 24 years of investment banking experience, during which time he advised some of the largest global power and infrastructure companies on critical strategic transactions both in the US and internationally. Mr. Wood was most recently Head of North American Utilities and Infrastructure and Global Co-Head of both Utilities and Infrastructure at Rothschild. Prior to joining Rothschild in 2005, Mr. Wood was a Managing Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Citigroup and previously worked in Energy Investment Banking at JP Morgan in New York and London. Mr. Wood began his career as a member of JP Morgan's Mergers and Acquisitions Group in London.

Mr. Wood holds a B.A. in Modern History from University College, Oxford.

Chris Wyke
Managing Director

Chris Wyke is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company.   Mr. Wyke has over a decade of experience in investment banking and was most recently a member of JPMorgan’s investment banking team in Sydney, where he originated and executed a wide range of domestic and international transactions. In his role he provided capital structure, restructuring and strategic and transaction advisory services to real estate trusts, fund managers and diversified property group clients in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to JPMorgan, he was with UBS in London, Singapore and Sydney covering real estate clients across Europe, Asia and Australia respectively.

Mr. Wyke holds a Bachelor of Economics with Honors from University College London.

Ted Yun
Managing Partner of Private Equity

Ted Yun is a Managing Partner of the Private Equity Business of Moelis & Company. Mr. Yun has 20 years of investment experience and expertise in building and managing private equity firms. Mr. Yun has particular experience investing in middle-market private equity opportunities in the healthcare services, business services and consumer/specialty retail sectors, and has served on the boards of directors of more than 15 portfolio companies.

Mr. Yun spent 11 years at J.W. Childs, where he was a Partner and Chairman of the Investment Committee. After his time at J.W. Childs, he was a founder and Managing Partner of West Hill Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle market growth company buyouts. Previously, Mr. Yun worked at DLJ Merchant Banking, The Blackstone Group and Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Mr. Yun received a B.S. of Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A.S. with a concentration in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He received an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
