Moelis & Company Announces the Appointment of Dennis Cornell as Managing Director in the Private Equity Solutions Group
Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC), a leading global independent investment bank, today announced the appointment of Dennis Cornell as Managing Director in the Private Equity Solutions Group which provides seamless industry, product and execution capabilities to financial sponsors and their portfolio companies. Mr. Cornell is based in New York.
With more than 20 years of investment banking experience at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Cornell was most recently Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking in the Americas, previously Head of Middle East North Africa (MENA) Sovereign Wealth Fund and Private Equity Fund Coverage based in Dubai, and held the position of Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group for about 10 years. Mr. Cornell began his investment banking career at Merrill Lynch & Co., and has also served as a Lieutenant and Nuclear Engineer in the United States Navy.
