Diversity & Inclusion

At Moelis & Company, our people are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to maintaining an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity. We foster a culture of partnership, passion, optimism and hard work through our diversity and inclusion efforts, and look to attract, retain and develop individuals who have that same drive.

As a global, multicultural firm we are committed to building a workforce that is representative of the diverse range of clients we advise around the world.

Statement from Ken Moelis, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

“We built Moelis & Company on a foundation of collaboration, believing that the exchange of diverse ideas enables us to achieve unparalleled outcomes. Our culture was born out of this concept — a culture in which every colleague’s voice is valued and the diversity of our collective perspectives makes us stronger and more effective.

Our commitment to uphold a culture of respect and inclusion begins at the top and is driven by our executive leadership and our Board of Directors. We foster open dialogue to ensure that each individual feels free to express themselves authentically. While my colleagues share an exceptional level of talent, they differ in their wide array of backgrounds and experiences — something that excites and inspires me every day.

As we strive to be a premier destination for talent at all levels, we are focused on recruiting from a diverse pool of candidates as well as ensuring that our hiring practices remove biases from the selection process. Our firm-sponsored Employee Networks help us advance our goal by providing networking and professional development support for employees who identify as members of underrepresented groups and their allies.

In addition to supporting the diversity of new talent, we are keenly focused on providing opportunities for internal advancement. By offering training resources and mentorship along with day-to-day opportunities for growth, we equip our colleagues with the tools they need to reach their full potential. Our goal is to make all of our employees great. With colleagues who feel valued, respected, and inspired, I am excited about what we can achieve together.”
