Moelis & Company Announces the Appointment of Rodney Reid as a Managing Director and Global Head of Private Funds Advisory
Moelis & Company (NYSE: MC), a leading global independent investment bank, today announced the appointment of Rodney Reid as a Managing Director and Global Head of Private Funds Advisory based in New York. He joins the firm in April.
Under Mr. Reid’s leadership, Private Funds Advisory will bring together the Firm’s existing capabilities in providing private capital alternatives to financial sponsors ranging from accessing primary capital for new funds and investments to bespoke, private capital solutions for existing portfolio companies and funds. The Private Funds Advisory team will work in close collaboration with the Firm’s financial sponsors advisory bankers globally to further enhance the full suite of services for its critical private equity client base.

Mr. Reid joins Moelis & Company with more than 20 years of financial services experience. He was most recently a Senior Managing Director in the Private Capital Advisory team at Evercore in New York. Previously, he was the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) Head of Secondary Advisory at UBS in London.
