Maarten de Jong is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specializes in advising clients in the healthcare sector. He has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience, with expertise in M&A and capital markets healthcare transactions, including pharmaceuticals, specialty pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and diagnostics transactions.

Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Maarten was a Managing Director Barclays Capital where he executed a broad range of transactions across the healthcare sector and developed a portfolio of relationships across the U.S. and Europe. Before that, he was the Global Head of Life Sciences at Lehman Brothers.

Maarten holds a MSc. in Chemistry from the University of Utrecht.
