Matthew A'Hearn
Senior Vice President
Matt A’Hearn is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Steve Bloom

Steve Bloom is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Bloom has almost 13 years of investment banking experience, most recently as an investment banker at Bear Stearns, where he co-lead the firm's coverage of the food, drug and convenience store retailing and distribution industries. During his time at Bear Stearns, Mr. Bloom executed on a broad range of corporate finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance transactions and equity offerings. Mr. Bloom was previously an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he gained broad transaction experience across the retail, media and telecom, automotive and industrial industries.

Sara Buckley

Sara Buckley is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Buckley spent six years in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, most recently in the Equity Capital Markets Consumer and Retail Group. Ms. Buckley has executed numerous M&A, equity and leveraged finance transactions in the consumer and retail sectors.
Ms. Buckley graduated from Smith College with an A.B. in Economics and also holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
Matthew S. Clark
Senior Vice President
Matt Clark is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Clark has over ten years of investment banking and principal investing experience, most recently as a Partner at Barrington Partners, a hedge fund for which he developed and researched investment ideas. Prior to Barrington Partners, Mr. Clark was an Executive Director at UBS where he advised companies on mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives and capital raising solutions. His experience at UBS included responsibilities in the Financial Sponsors Group, Global Industrials Group and M&A Group. Mr. Clark was also an Associate in M&A at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and an Associate at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown.
Mr. Clark received a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Timothy W. Dahms

Tim Dahms is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Dahms has over 10 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Vice President at Bear Stearns, where he executed numerous M&A, equity and leveraged finance finance transactions in the retail and apparel sector. Geoff DeMartino

Geoff DeMartino is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. DeMartino has over 10 years of investment banking experience at both Moelis & Company, which he joined in early 2008, as well as at Bear Stearns. Mr. DeMartino has extensive corporate finance and restructuring experience, including M&A and valuation assignments, equity financings and leveraged financings across a broad spectrum of industries including retail, consumer products, financial services, e-commerce, leisure, industrial and media.

Peter Dixon
Executive Director
Peter Dixon is an Executive Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Dixon has over 10 years of experience advising clients on public and private M&A, capital raisings, restructurings and investment management transactions. Mr. Dixon was most recently a Division Director in the Real Estate Advisory team at Macquarie Group Limited based in Sydney. Prior to Macquarie, Mr. Dixon worked at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney and Linklaters in London as a corporate advisory lawyer.

Liz Eberhart

Liz Eberhart is a Senior Vice President and the Head of Human Resources at Moelis & Company. Ms. Eberhart has 15 years of HR experience, 10 of which were spent at UBS where she was most recently the Head of Americas Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities HR Team. Prior to this role, Ms. Eberhart held HR positions for UBS AG in both London and Switzerland as a Client Relationship Manager and Recruiter.
Ms. Eberhart received a B.S. from the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University.
Jon Farthing
Senior Vice President
Jon Farthing is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Farthing spent seven years at UBS, in both Proprietary Trading and Hedge Fund Sales roles. In Hedge Fund Sales, he advised an extensive array of hedge funds and proprietary trading desks across Asia, London and New York on merger arbitrage, long/short, and dual-listed trading strategies. Mr. Farthing most recently worked as a Portfolio Manager at Providus Capital, a hedge fund based in Sydney, trading a wide variety of asset classes around the globe, with a focus on long/short, macro, and dual-listed trading strategies.
Mr. Farthing holds a Bachelor of Economics with a degree in Economics and Finance from Sydney University.
Zul Jamal
Senior Vice President
Zul Jamal is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Jamal has eight years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Senior Vice President at Jefferies & Company, where he advised clients on a wide variety of restructuring transactions including chapter 11 bankruptcies, exchange offers, consent solicitations, lender negotiations and distressed financings. Mr. Jamal also spent time in London, where he was responsible for international financial sponsor, restructuring and leveraged finance activities.

Jim Johnston is a Director of the Private Equity Business of Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Johnston was at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Johnston has extensive experience in mergers and financing across a broad spectrum of industries, including industrial, consumer and technology. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Johnston was a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy.

Adam Keil

Adam Keil is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Keil spent almost eight years in the Recapitalization and Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company. Mr. Keil has extensive experience advising debtors, creditors and equity holders on a wide variety of restructuring transactions across a broad range of industries including technology, media and telecommunications, real estate, retail and general industrials.
Mr. Keil graduated with a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Andy Kieffer

Andy Kieffer is a Director of the Private Equity Business of Moelis & Company. Mr. Kieffer has been in the investment banking industry for over 10 years, most recently in the UBS Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Group and previously at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Kieffer has executed numerous M&A, equity and leveraged finance transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. He has extensive experience with advisory and financing assignments associated with leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations.

Joel Killion
Director of Private Equity
Joel Killion is a Director of the Private Equity Business of Moelis & Company. Mr. Killion has 10 years of investment experience, having invested in numerous middle-market leveraged buyouts and growth equity transactions, both in the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Killion has invested across a range of industries, with a particular focus in the consumer, retail and industrial sectors. Mr. Killion's experience includes transactions involving healthy companies, distressed companies and companies in both special situations and restructuring situations. Mr. Killion was previously with Sun Capital Partners where he worked both in the U.S. and in London. Prior to joining Sun Capital, he was with Catterton Partners. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers and Legg Mason.
Mr. Killion has a B. S. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University, and an M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School.
Barak Klein

Barak Klein is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Klein has over 10 years of investment banking and asset management experience, most recently at SAC Capital Advisors, where he was a member of the CR Intrinsic-General Distressed Group, investing in work-out and special situations. Mr. Klein was previously a Senior Vice President at Jefferies Asset Management and prior to this was a Vice President in the Restructuring & Recapitalization Group at Jefferies & Company. Mr. Klein began his career in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin.

Gavin Kolt

Gavin Kolt is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Kolt has 12 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he advised public and private companies and executed private equity and debt and illiquid asset monetization transactions for clients across all industries. Neel Malviya
Senior Vice President
Neel Malviya is a Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Moelis & Company and is responsible for legal and compliance in EMEA. Mr. Malviya has practiced law for over 13 years, most recently having spent seven years as EMEA Head of Investment Banking Legal at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Malviya was a Managing Associate in the Corporate/M&A Department at Linklaters.
Mr. Malviya received an LLB (Hons) from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, York.
Peter Meijer
Executive Director
Peter Meijer is an Executive Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Meijer has 15 years of fixed income trading and structuring experience, most recently at JP Morgan. In his last role at JP Morgan, Mr. Meijer focused on Structured Solutions for Dutch financial institutions. He was previously Global Head of the Franchise Structuring Group at JP Morgan, where was responsible for origination, development and structuring of several market leading credit transactions and structured credit funds. Prior to JP Morgan, Mr. Meijer was a Director in the Citigroup Global Markets Structured Products Group, where he was responsible for coverage of Northern Europe. Mr. Meijer began his career in the Netherlands in 1995 at Credit Lyonnais and Rabobank where he was a bond trader and credit derivatives trader and structurer.
Mr. Meijer received an M.Sc. in Econometrics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
David Miles
Senior Vice President
David Miles is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company and COO of the Advisory Business in Australia. Mr. Miles was most recently the Chief Operating Officer for the Investment Bank at JPMorgan in Australia. He was previously an Executive Manager at Commonwealth Bank following 12 years at JPMorganChase in various executive roles.
Mr. Miles holds a B(Comm) from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Daniel Nicolaievsky

Daniel Nicolaievsky is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Nicolaievsky spent over five years in the Restructuring Group at UBS, where he executed numerous restructuring and leveraged financed transactions. Mr. Nicolaievsky has extensive experience advising debtors, creditors and equity holders on a wide variety of restructuring transactions, including in-court, out-of-court and sovereign restructuring transactions. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Nicolaievsky spent two years in Mexico at Protego Asesores Financieros S.A. de C.V. (currently part of Evercore Partners), where he focused on M&A transactions, private equity placements and debt financings.
Mr. Nicolaievsky holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University and a B.A. in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
Charles Noel-Johnson

Charles Noel-Johnson is an Executive Director at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company in 2009, Mr. Noel-Johnson spent eight years at Close Brothers, where he was a Director in the European Restructuring Group based in London. In this role, he advised an extensive array of corporates, sponsors and creditors across Europe and the Middle East on restructuring, refinancing and distressed M&A transactions. Prior to Close Brothers, Mr. Noel-Johnson worked at JPMorgan in both London and New York.
Mr. Noel-Johnson graduated from Edinburgh University with an M.A. honors in Politics and studied Politics and International Relations at The University of California, San Diego. He is also an Associate of the Securities & Investment Institute.
Joel Rathbun
Senior Vice President
Joel Rathbun is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Rathbun has 10 years of investment banking experience, most recently as an Executive Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at CIBC World Markets, where he executed a wide variety of advisory assignments. While at CIBC World Markets, Mr. Rathbun was crucial in building one of Wall Street’s leading industrial franchises and advised many of the leading steel producers, steel processors, metal service centers and metal recyclers in North America. Mr. Rathbun also has extensive experience providing advice to senior executives in the Healthcare, Technology and Business Services industries. Mr. Rathbun previously worked for an engineering firm on a number of construction projects throughout the world.
Mr. Rathbun holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University in Canada and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Sash Rentala

Sash Rentala is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Rentala has over 10 years of investment banking experience, most recently as an Executive Director at UBS, where he led teams in originating, analyzing and executing restructuring, distressed M&A and leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Rentala advised clients on a variety of restructuring transactions including exchange offers, consent solicitations, lender negotiations, amendments and distressed financings. During his tenure at UBS, Mr. Rentala focused on the power generation and utilities industries, as well as executed transactions in the technology, chemicals, industrials and metals and mining sectors. Prior to UBS, Mr. Rentala was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He also served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.

Tarik Rguem
Senior Vice President
Tarik Rguem is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Rguem was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance Group. At UBS, Mr. Rguem was responsible for both financial sponsor coverage as well as execution of transactions across all areas of the firm, including leveraged finance, M&A, private placements and restructurings. Mr. Rguem was also previously an Associate at Houlihan Lokey, and prior to his investment banking career worked at Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Rguem received an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he is a member of the Anderson Honor Society, and received an Honors Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Ottawa.
Peijie Shiu
Senior Vice President
Peijie Shiu is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Shiu spent the previous eight years at UBS Investment bank where he was a Quantitative Analyst and Executive Director. In this role, he provided pricing, structuring, and risk advisory services on various fixed income products, including synthetic credit derivatives, asset-backed securities, corporate and emerging markets. Prior to UBS, Mr. Shiu was an Information Technology Developer in Fixed Income Swaps at Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Shiu received a Master of Engineering in Financial Engineering Option, Operation Research and Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering at Cornell University.
Anne Siew

Anne Siew is a Senior Vice President at Moelis & Company and COO of the Advisory Business in EMEA. Ms. Siew has been in the investment banking industry for five years and previously practiced law for nine years. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Siew was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in Global Capital Markets specializing in liability management, loans and debt financings. She also spent over two years on the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance team where she executed numerous high yield and leveraged finance transactions. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Ms. Siew was a Capital Markets Lawyer at Allen & Overy LLP.
Ms. Siew received a LL.B (undergraduate) and a LL.M (Masters in Law) from Durham University.
Christopher Stehling
Head of Finance and Accounting
Chris Stehling is the Head of Finance and Accounting at Moelis & Company. Mr. Stehling has 14 years of experience in finance and accounting, with ten of those years in the financial services industry. Most recently Mr. Stehling was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs with responsibility for divisional management reporting of the Fixed Income and Equity divisions. Prior to Goldman Sachs, he was a Director at UBS and served as Deputy Controller of the Investment Banking Department in the Americas. Mr. Stehling began his career at Deloitte & Touche in the audit division, where he obtained his C.P.A. license.
Mr. Stehling graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Accounting from New Jersey City University.
Andrew Thomson
Executive Director
Andrew Thomson is an Executive Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Thomson has been in the M&A industry for over eight years, most recently as an Executive Director in the European M&A Group at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Thomson has led the execution of a wide variety of M&A, defense, leveraged buyout and divestiture transactions for both public and private clients across a wide variety of industries and European jurisdictions. Mr. Thomson was previously an investment banker in the European and UK M&A Groups at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr Thomson also gained a valuable experience on the principal side as a Director of Corporate Development/M&A at Masco Corporation, a NYSE-listed industrial group with $12 billion in revenues.
Mr. Thomson has a dual Franco-Britannic nationality and background. He received a postgraduate Masters in Finance from the Paris Dauphine University and a Masters in Business & Finance from the Lincoln International Business School.

Osamu Watanabe

Osamu Watanabe is a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Moelis & Company. He was previously General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Sagent Advisors and prior to that held senior positions at UBS, Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, including General Counsel to GRP Partners, a venture capital fund affiliated with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Watanabe was in private practice at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Melbourne from 1987 to 1997 and clerked for the Honorable Morey L. Sear, Eastern District of Louisiana.
Mr. Watanabe received a B.A. from Antioch College and a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1985.
Thomas M. Wonica

Tom Wonica is a Senior Vice President and the Director of Information Technology at Moelis & Company. Mr. Wonica has over 14 years of corporate information technology experience. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Wonica was a Director at UBS where he held positions as Global Head of Application and Customer Support for Investment Banking IT and Regional Head of Distribution Technology for Equities IT. Mr. Wonica began his information technology career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse. At Credit Suisse Mr. Wonica was responsible for the integration of the Investment Banking Division support functions, after which he assumed a management role.
Mr. Wonica holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgetown University.
