Vice President

Tony Cheetham
Vice President

Tony Cheetham is a Vice President at Moelis & Company and European Finance Director in EMEA. Mr. Cheetham has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, Mr. Cheetham was the Chief Finance Officer for Aozora Investment Management Limited. Prior to this, he was at the Bank of New York, where he held roles as Finance Director in Luxembourg as well as European Mutual Funds Financial Controller. Mr. Cheetham previously held finance and accounting positions at Fidelity Investment Services Limited, Royal Bank of Canada and Royal Trust Bank. Mr. Cheetham began his career at Grant Thornton, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Cheetham received a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University of Technology.

Carlo De Girolamo is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. De Girolamo has over five years of transaction experience, most recently as a Director in the Industrial Growth and Services Group at CIBC World Markets where he executed a number of cross border advisory and financing assignments in the chemicals, metals, mining, clean technology, aerospace and general industrial sectors. Mr. De Girolamo began his investment banking career as an Associate at Haywood Securities Inc. where he focused on capital raising and advisory assignments in the telecoms, technology and general industrial sectors. Prior to joining Haywood, Mr. De Girolamo was a licensed C.P.A. with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their International Tax Services Group. 

Mr. De Girolamo holds a B.B.A. from The Schulich School of Business at York University and an M.B.A. from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Vice President

David Felman is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Felman has advised on or executed over $75 billion of M&A, restructuring and equity and debt financing transactions across a number of industries, including the gaming, lodging, media and consumer sectors. He has extensive experience across a broad range of M&A transactions, including sell-side assignments, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, special committee advisory and fairness opinions. Mr. Felman joined Moelis & Company when the firm was founded and was previously an investment banker at UBS and Morgan Stanley. He also has prior work experience at the Stanford University endowment and the White House Council of Economic Advisers.

Mr. Felman received an A.B. in Economics and Political Science with Distinction and Honors from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from UCLA, where he graduated top of his class as a Carter Fellow and received the Appel Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Entrepreneurial Studies and Leadership and the Weston Award for Academic Excellence in Finance.

Karen Frketic
Vice President

Karen Frketic is a Vice President and Senior Finance Officer for Moelis & Company in Australia. Mrs. Frketic was most recently the Group Financial Controller for the institutional fund manager AllianceBernstein in Australia. She was previously the Group Financial Controller in the Financial Management Group for the Investment Bank at JPMorgan in Australia. Prior to JPMorgan, Mrs. Frketic was with the Business Services Group at Ernst & Young in their Sydney office.

Mrs. Frketic holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and is an Associate with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Daniel Gibney

Daniel Gibney is a Vice President at Moelis &Company. Mr. Gibney was previously an Associate Director in Close Brothers' European Restructuring Group, where he executed a number of debtor and creditor side restructuring transactions including debt for equity swaps, financial covenant amendments, distressed refinancings and pension advisory roles across a range of industries. Prior to joining Close Brothers, Mr. Gibney was a member of KPMG's Restructuring team where he advised on a mix of debtor and creditor side assignments including independent business reviews, liquidity management, turnaround management and insolvency work.

Mr. Gibney received his ACA chartered accountancy qualification at KPMG and holds a B.Sc. with Honors in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham.

Colleen Hoy is the Head of Recruiting at Moelis & Company. Ms. Hoy has approximately 10 years of recruiting experience in both the investment banking and consulting industries. Previously, she managed North American Campus Recruiting at Oliver Wyman and Investment Banking Analyst Recruiting at UBS. Prior to that, Ms. Hoy handled undergraduate recruiting at The Boston Consulting Group in New York.

Swati Jayadevan is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining SUN Group Advisors, Ms. Jayadevan was at GE Capital, initially in the Structured Finance Group, and later in the European Leveraged Finance Business, where she was responsible for underwriting syndicated debt packages as well as investing in liquid leveraged loans in the secondary markets. She began her investment banking career in the European M&A Group at Lehman Brothers.

Ms. Jayadevan holds a B.C. with joint Honors in Economics and Finance from McGill University.

Griff Norquist

Griff Norquist is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Norquist was an investment banker at Macquarie Capital Advisors and at J.P. Morgan in the Financial Institutions Group. Mr. Norquist has executed a wide range of transactions in the Financial Institutions sector for insurance and specialty finance clients. He began his career in Corporate Development at MassMutual Financial Group. Mr. Norquist served as a Captain in the Field Artillery branch of the U.S. Army and is a veteran of Afghanistan, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.

Mr. Norquist holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy and an M.B.A. from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

Mr. Oury began his career on the Fixed Income Derivatives trading desk at Credit Agricole Indosuez.

Mr. Oury holds an M.S. in Engineering and an M.S. in Biochemistry Research from Institut National Polytechnique, an M.A. in Economics and Political Sciences from Institut d'Etudes Politiques, an M.S. in Business from Institut d'Administration des Entreprises and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Kate Pilcher

Kate Pilcher is a Vice President and the Head of Investor and Media Relations at Moelis & Company.  Ms. Pilcher has been in the investment banking industry for six years and prior to joining Moelis & Company, was an Associate Director in the UBS Investment Bank Office of the CEO and President, where she helped to analyze growth opportunities and develop the strategy of the firm.  Prior to this, Ms. Pilcher was an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at UBS Investment Bank.  In this role, she advised clients in the commercial banking, asset management, broker-dealer, specialty finance and financial technology sectors on mergers and acquisitions and raising equity and debt financing.
 
Ms. Pilcher received a B.S. in Commerce with distinction from The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.

Steven Sadler

Steven Sadler is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Sadler has over 10 years of IT management and business consultancy experience across a number of industry sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Sadler was IT Manager for Orient Global, a global private investment and philanthropy organization, and was responsible for the global IT and telecommunications platform. Mr. Sadler began his information technology career at James Martin & Co. where he moved into IT Consulting, business process modeling and project management. Mr. Sadler has also delivered projects for the Royal Navy and BAE Systems in E-Learning technology and strategy.

Mr. Sadler is an ITIL practitioner and has certification in Microsoft, Oracle and Casewise BPM.

Sean Scoggins is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Ms. Shiliashka began her investment banking career in the Global Industrial Group at UBS, where she executed numerous equity, leveraged finance and M&A transactions.

Mr. Stewart was previously a Director at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, Consumer & Retail Group in both Sydney and New York and the UK M&A Advisory Group in London. Mr. Stewart began his career at Deloitte & Touche where he worked in both audit and tax.

Mr. Stewart received a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Ilana Stringer
Vice President

Ilana Stringer is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Ms. Stringer was an Associate Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at UBS Investment Bank. Ms. Stringer advised clients across a range of industries, with a particular focus on Private Equity and Emerging Companies and has executed a variety of buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Ms. Stringer holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.

Joseph M. Walsh
Vice President

Joe Walsh is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Walsh was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs JBWere in Australia and at Goldman Sachs in New York. Throughout his investment banking career, Mr. Walsh has executed transactions in a wide variety of product areas across multiple sectors within the real estate industry. He began his career in project management and internal consulting at Goldman Sachs. Previously, Mr. Walsh served as an officer in the U.S. Army in the Armor and Signal branches.

Mr. Walsh received a B.S. in Mathematics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ben Wong
Vice President

Ben Wong is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Wong has over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, including five years in investment banking at JPMorgan and seven years in tax at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Sydney and London offices. Most recently Mr. Wong was a member of JPMorgan's Asia-Pacific Real Estate Investment Banking team where he worked across a broad spectrum of transactions involving cross border M&A, corporate and debt restructuring and equity and debt capital markets.

Mr. Wong is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from the University of New South Wales.

Michael Zhao
Vice President

Michael Zhao is a Vice President at Moelis & Company. Mr. Zhao has been in the investment banking industry for over nine years, most recently in the European Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Zhao has advised clients across a wide range of M&A and LBO transactions in the Industrials arena, focusing especially on the infrastructure, transportation and paper and packaging sectors.

Mr. Zhao holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, an M.Sc. in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a native Mandarin speaker.
