Mark Aedy

Mark Aedy is a Managing Director and the Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Investment Banking at Moelis & Company. Mr. Aedy is an investment banking veteran with over 30 years of extensive experience building and managing leading investment banking franchises. Prior to Moelis & Company, he served as Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and was a member of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Executive Committee. Prior to that role, he held several senior management positions at Merrill Lynch in EMEA, including Head of Investment Banking, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Head of General Industrials. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2000, Mr. Aedy was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. Over the course of his career, Mr. Aedy has advised many of the most prominent clients in the Americas, EMEA, Pac-Rim and Australia on critical strategic transactions.

Stephen Aulsebrook

Geoffrey Austin

John Binnie

Thane Carlston is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company. Mr. Carlston has been in the investment banking industry for 20 years. From 1998 until joining Moelis & Company in 2008, he was Co-Head of the Recapitalization and Restructuring Group at Jefferies & Company. During his leadership, Jefferies advised on nearly $200 billion of restructuring transactions. Before joining Jefferies, he ran the New York office for Chanin and Company, a boutique investment banking firm specialized in providing restructuring advice. Mr. Carlston has extensive experience advising companies, equity sponsors, bondholders and creditor groups in out-of-court restructurings as well as pre-packaged, pre-arranged and unplanned Chapter 11 reorganizations. He has structured and led numerous exchange offers, consent solicitations and lender negotiations in a variety of industries. In addition to advising clients on recapitalization and restructuring services, he has advised on a number of financing and M&A transactions.

Kenneth D. Moelis

Ken Moelis is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Moelis & Company.  With over 580 employees across eleven offices globally, the firm has advised on over $600 billion of transactions and has $3.9 billion of total asset management capital.

Prior to founding Moelis & Company, Mr. Moelis was President of UBS Investment Bank from 2005 to 2007.  He joined UBS in 2001 and previously held positions including Joint Global Head of Investment Banking and Head of Americas Investment Banking.  Prior to UBS, Mr. Moelis was Head of Corporate Finance at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette from 1996 through 2000.  He was previously Co-Head of the firm’s Los Angeles office from 1990 through 1996 and began his investment banking career in 1981 at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Mr. Moelis was recently named to the 50 Most Influential list by Bloomberg Markets.  He is a member of the Board of the Tourette Syndrome Association, the Wharton Board of Overseers and the Board of Governors of Cedars Sinai Hospital.  He holds an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

John Momtazee

John Momtazee is a Managing Director and Founding Partner of Moelis & Company. Mr. Momtazee was most recently a Managing Director in the Global Media Group and the Head of Broadcasting Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank. While at UBS, he covered clients across several media sub-sectors, including diversified media, cable television, broadcast television, broadcast radio, digital media, entertainment, publishing and outdoor advertising. Mr. Momtazee has advised and financed many of the largest, most sophisticated media clients and worked extensively with leading financial sponsors. Mr. Momtazee was previously an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and then served as the Chief Financial Officer of The .TV Corporation. Mr. Momtazee was honored as Investment Dealers' Digest's 2009 "40 Under 40."
 
Mr. Momtazee and his family are active supporters of the Parish of St. Matthew, the Tourette Syndrome Association and the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network. Mr. Momtazee holds an A.B. in Quantitative Economics and an M.S. in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University and an M.B.A. and J.D., both with honors, from the University of Chicago.

Charles Noel-Johnson

Stephan Oppenheimer is a Partner of Moelis Capital Partners and focuses on the business services and media sectors. Mr. Oppenheimer spent 10 years at CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC and its predecessor organizations, JP Morgan Partners and Chase Capital Partners, where he most recently focused on transactions in the services, media and telecom and industrial sectors. Steve Panagos is a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Moelis & Company. Mr. Panagos is a widely recognized turnaround expert and has a long and distinguished career of leading complex bankruptcies and reorganizations for both companies and their creditors across a broad spectrum of industries. To date, Mr. Panagos has restructured more than $70 billion worth of debt across more than 80 situations and has provided expert testimony regarding valuation and restructuring matters.
 
Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Panagos was the National Practice Leader of Kroll Zolfo Cooper's Corporate Advisory & Restructuring Practice. During his 20 year tenure at Kroll Zolfo Cooper, Mr. Panagos provided restructuring advice to numerous companies or their creditors. On several occasions he has taken certain management roles to lead the restructuring process from within. Examples include serving as Chief Operating Officer and President of Krispy Kreme, Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer of Penn Traffic Supermarkets and Chief Restructuring Officer of Metromedia Fiber Networks, as well as several interim management positions at many other companies. Anton Sahazizian

Joe Simon is a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Moelis & Company. Mr. Simon has over 25 years of experience as a senior manager of financial controls, operations and strategy and has particular experience with financial services firms, most recently serving as CFO of Financial Security Assurance for seven years. While at Financial Security Assurance, Mr. Simon re-engineered the treasury and accounting areas to enhance the firm's financial planning and analysis, allocation of capital and transparency of financial reporting. Prior to Financial Security Assurance, Mr. Simon worked at Cantor Fitzgerald where he served as CFO, Global Controller and Global Head of Operations.
