Moelis & Company Announces Joseph B. Kennedy has Joined as a Managing Director in Consumer and Retail

New York, April 30, 2009: Moelis & Company announced today that Joseph B. Kennedy has joined the firm as a Managing Director based in New York. Mr. Kennedy, who has almost 18 years of investment banking experience, will expand the firm’s coverage of consumer products and retail companies, with a particular focus on restaurant clients.
Mr. Kennedy joins from Wachovia where he was most recently Head of Retail Investment Banking. Prior to this, Mr. Kennedy was the Co-Head of Retail Investment Banking and the Sector Head of Restaurants at Bank of America, where he managed a leading franchise advising executives on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, recapitalizations and other corporate finance matters. Before Bank of America, Mr. Kennedy worked at Merrill Lynch and Chemical Banking Corporation.
