​John Garrett is a Managing Director and Head of Distribution at Moelis & Company. Mr. Garrett has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry across property investment sales, equity research, sales trading, risk arbitrage, long/short and special situations. Most recently, Mr. Garrett was Head of Hedge Fund Sales at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Garrett joined UBS in 1996 as a REIT analyst on the Australian Equities Research team and was responsible for REIT trading/sales from 1997 through 2002. Between 2002 and 2007, Mr. Garrett was Head of Sales Trading at UBS.

Mr. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Business in Property/Valuation and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is also an Accredited Level 1 and Level 2 Derivatives Advisor on the Australian Securities Exchange and Chi-X Australia.​

Simon Scott is a Managing Director and Head of Equities Research at Moelis & Company. Mr. Scott began his career in Equities Research over 15 years ago, and has held positions as an Executive Director and Head of Real Estate Research at Goldman Sachs JB Were and a Director and Co-Head of Real Estate Research at Citigroup. Prior to Moelis & Company, Mr. Scott operated his own company where he provided advisory services to real estate companies and helped establish CorVal Partners, a boutique real estate funds management business.

Mr. Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney.​
