We believe our Associate Programme offers a unique experience in the financial services industry. Associates join the firm as generalists and have significant exposure to deal activity across industries in our key business areas. Moelis & Company Associates are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, leadership and analytical aptitude. Day-to-day responsibilities of an Associate include financial analysis and modeling, managing a team, preparing client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients. A sophisticated level of interpersonal skills is required. Our Associates typically have industry or investment banking experience. All new full-time Associates participate in a rigorous training programme that includes extensive accounting, financial modeling and valuation training.
Moelis & Company Summer Associates participate in a 10-week summer programme. All Summer Associates have educational and social events to help get to know the industry and firm better. Moelis & Company Summer Associates participate in one-week of training that includes financial modeling and valuation training.
Summer Associate recruiting begins in October with interviews in January and February. We focus our recruitment on our Summer Associate programme, but may have additional full-time opportunities each year. Our summer programme is targeted for the Class of 2013.
